What should I check? Answer: Make sure the machine is unplugged form an outlet before you try these fixes. Remove the four screws from the bottom of the machine and the screw in the middle of the plate, directly above the brush. Lift the plate off. Grab the Rotating Floor Brush at both ends and lift. Clean strings, hair, and other debris from the brush. Make sure to also clean strings, hair, and other debris from the Motor Pulley and Drive Belt areas. Check and make sure the belt isn’t broken. If it is, the replacement belt should be a Style 7, 9, or 10. If your brush still doesn’t rotate, take your machine to a BISSELL Authorized Service Center.
