Answer: The red indicator light turns on as soon as the Steam Shot ™ is plugged in and goes off when it’s ready to use. Wait a few minutes for it to heat up enough to produce steam. When it’s hot enough, the light will go off. If the red indicator light doesn’t turn off after a few minutes, there may not be water in the unit. Unplug the Steam Shot™ and wait for it to cool. When the steamer has cooled, fill the tank with water.
