Your PowerGlide vacuum is equipped with a variable suction valve to adjust the suction power of your vacuum
To decrease the suction to clean drapes or other delicate surfaces, rotate the variable suction valve to the right
This will decrease the amount of suction so that you can clean with ease

Decreasing the amount of suction can also be useful if cleaning high pile carpet. Turn the suction valve to the right to lower the amount of suction, making it easier to push and pull the vacuum
