To keep your BISSELL BOLT vacuum operating at its best, you should clean your vacuum filter regularly.

To clean your vacuum filter, first, remove your hand vacuum from the body.

Next, press the button located beneath the power button to remove the dirt tank.

Once you have removed the dirt tank, grasp the filter tabs and turn to the left, unlocking the vacuum filter.

If your vacuum filter needs extra cleaning, rinse with warm water and allow to dry completely before replacing in the unit.

To replace the filter, put back into the filter cup and twist to the right, locking it in place.
