My Pet Hair Eraser® Cordless Hand Vacuum has low to no suction. What should I do?

Answer:
  1. First, remove the dirt cup from the hand vac. Turn unit on & check for suction at the motor duct (pictured below). If there’s no suction here, go to step 5. If there is suction here, go on to step 2.

  3. With the dirt cup in place, check for suction at the end of the nozzle (pictured below). If there’s no suction, see if the nozzle is clogged.

  5. Check the dirt container. If it’s full, emptying it may restore suction. Also, check that the filter is clean. You can rinse it with warm water and mild detergent if simply tapping it against a garbage can doesn’t do the trick. Allow the filter to dry completely before reinstalling.   6. Make sure that the vacuum is fully charged. Suction may decrease as charge runs out. It takes the vacuum 16 hours to fully charge.
