How do I resolve this? Answer: Please check the following to try to resolve the problem: Squeeze and release the trigger to see if it springs back. If yes, the unit may have lost prime. To prime hold the trigger in for 30 seconds with the unit turned off. Remove flow indicator cap and check to see if water comes through the flow indicator when the trigger is depressed. If there is no tension in the trigger, check the square valve on the unit by removing the upper handle and manually depressing it to see if water comes through the flow indicator with the cap off. (This will not apply to Self Propelled units). Inspect handle to see if the push rod is moving in relationship to the trigger. If not, you will need a handle replacement. If yes, reinstall the handle and try again. If the square valve is not in place, please contact an Authorized Service Center for additional assistance. Does water come through the flow indicator? If no, please contact an Authorized Service Center for additional assistance. If yes, pour hot tap water (½ - 1 cup) into the flow indicator. Let the unit sit for about 30 seconds then check to see if water came out through the floor. If yes, put the flow indicator cap back on and check for spray. If no water came through to the floor, check for debris on the spray tips (red or white) located behind the brush roll underneath the machine. Clean with soft brush (an old toothbrush works great). Then put vinegar and water into the flow indicator and let sit for about 30 minutes. (Be sure to place a towel under the machine or make sure the machine is on a surface that would not be damaged by water.)
