Answer: Remove the tank by pushing on the "Empty" button located right in front of the handle. Grasp the carry handle and base of the dirt cup and unlock the tank using the lock and unlock icons sliding from the lock to the unlock position so the arrow to the dirt cup lines up with the unlock symbol (turning carry handle left to right) Take the inner cyclone out by lifting it out of the dirt cup. The cyclone can be rinsed off. Be sure it is COMPLETELY dry before putting back into the dirt cup. To put the cyclone back into the dirt cup the three tabs on the cyclone need to match up with their mating slots on the dirt tank. Otherwise the tank will not seat properly into the machine. Check the end of the hose for suction. If there is no suction, check the hose for logs by removing the hose from where the hose enters the machine where you will have to remove two (2) Phillips screws that hold the upper hose on and then stretch the hose and push a broom stick through until it his the elbow. Attempt to shake out debris from the elbow end. Then remove the two (2) screws on the right side of the lower hose and lay flat and push a broom stick through to clear any obstructions. Reattach hoses and check for suction again at the end of the hose. And then check for suction with the machine put back together. If the machine is still clogged, please take your machine to the nearest BISSELL Authorized Service Center to have the machine inspected by a Quality Technician.
