What do I do? Answer: Make sure the handle is slid into the vacuum base correctly. The hose connection part of the handle should be facing to the back of the machine. Make sure you are pushing the "Adjust/Release" button on the machine to ensure the handle slides in and let go to lock it into place to the setting you wish to have the handle at.
