We’re sorry you are experiencing leaking from your SpotBot®. Please try these steps below for repair.
• Remove the Clean Tank and see if it is leaking freely when removed from the machine. If there is a leak, a new cap and insert is needed. This can be ordered by following this link: www.bissell.com/parts.
• If there is no leak, remove the Collection Tank and see if there is water sitting in the receiving area of the machine. If there is, make sure the black “duck-bill” gasket is not missing from the collection tank or inserted improperly. The gasket is designed to only fit one way (please see images below for clarity).
• Ensure the gasket is open by taking it out and squeezing the tall duck-bill flap, forcing it open on the end. If there is no water sitting in the receiving area, please contact a BISSELL Authorized Service Center.
