BISSELL bagless vacuums generally have three filters that should all be cleaned frequently.
The three filters are the (1) round filter above the Dirt Tank, the (2) square filter in the tray under the Dirt Tank and the (3) rectangular filter on the side of back of the machine. These filters should be cleaned or replaced often so the machine gets proper air flow. Clogged filters can lead to reduced suction power. The black filters can be washed in warm water and mild detergent. They should be completely dry before they’re reinstalled. Other filters can be replaced too. Excess hair and debris should be cleaned from the Brush Roll so it can move freely. The belt should be checked periodically.
