Make sure that you’re maintaining all three filters as well as the plastic primary separator. Check out the instructions below for cleaning:
Inner and outer circular filters:
Remove the inner and outer circular filters by twisting counter-clockwise to unlock.
The small, round pre-motor filter can be accessed by removing the dirt-cup and lower-tank.
Primary Separator:
It’s also important to keep the primary separator (found in the upper-tank) clean. The primary separator can be removed from the upper-tank by twisting in the “unlock” direction.
Washing:
The filters can be washed in warm water with a mild detergent. They must air-dry thoroughly before replacing. To clean the Primary Separator, brush off any dirt and rinse it off with warm water. Air-dry completely before replacing.
