Check the filters. 2 Pre-Motor filters are located in the upper cyclone and the Post Motor Filter is located below the dirt tank. Wash with cold water (see below for post motor instructions) or replace as needed. Allow the filters to completely air dry before putting it back into the machine. To locate the pre-motor filters, take out the dirt tank assembly and unlock the tank using the lock and unlock icons. Pull up on the tank handle and it will expose the two pre-motor filters. The charcoal filter will have a grey flap on it. (see first set of 3 pics below) Pull up on that to get to the black sponge filter. Remove both and wash with cold water or replace as needed. Allow the filters to completely air dry before putting them back into the machine. **NOTE: Because of the air path, the bottom foam filter will get "full" first. Be sure you lift the thin top filter, then remove the thick sponge filter and look at the bottom to see if it is dirty. If so, wash and dry compltely before putting back into the machine. (See second set of 2 pics below) To locate the Post Motor Filter, take off the dirt tank assembly and you will see a button that says filter. Push on the filter button and it will release the filter cover. Then grab each side of the filter where there are tabs (one on each side) and pull striaght off. Wash in cold water and wait for it to completely air dry before putting it back into the machine. If you have a WHITE pleated filter instead of the black, it is NOT washable and will need to be replaced if dirty. If there is still no power, please take your machine to a BISSELL Authorized Service Center to have a Quality Technician inspect the machine.
