Sprays and Foams: Beverage, Cosmetic, Medicine, Food, Household and Pet Stains
Before cleaning it's always a good idea to contact or check your carpet manufacturer or retailer for specific cleaning how-to's. At BISSELL, we've uncovered some tried and true cleaning techniques through the years. On upholstery, look for a manufacturer's cleanability code tag. If the fabrics coded "WS" or "W" it's safe to clean. If your tag is coded "X" or "S", it is not safe to clean. For carpet, test a small hidden area of your carpet; if your carpets color is affected do not use this product. Do not use BISSELL products on velvet, silk, vinyl or leather upholstery.
If your stain contains solid particles or liquids, pick up what you can. Blot up the liquid with a clean cloth or towel.
Removing the stain for good is easy with a BISSELL enzyme-action product such as Professional Spot & Stain + Oxy Formula. With enzyme-action, enzymes get down into your stain so you don't have to! Work the solution into the stain with a cloth or sponge using light strokes from the edges of the stain to the center, no rubbing required. When you reach the center of the stain, lightly pinch in an upward motion. Wait 5 minutes, goodbye stain!
After cleaning, make sure to blot up the excess liquid with a clean cloth. The cleaner will continue to work on the stain for up to 24 hours after application.
If your stain persists, you will need to repeat the steps 2 - 4.
You should keep children and pets away from the area until it is dry and vacuumed.
