Battery Installation & Charging | How to Videos | SmartClean® Robotic Vacuum

Let’s learn how to install, remove and charge the robot’s battery.
  • Ensure the power switch on the unit is in the OFF position when inserting or removing the battery.
  • To install or remove the battery, turn the unit over and press on the two circles of the battery cover door to slide the door open.
  • Install the battery in the compartment, ensuring the plus and minus terminals match the indicators in the battery compartment. Slide the battery compartment door closed.
  • To charge the unit, ensure the power switch is in the ON position.
  • For the initial charge, it is recommended that you plug the adapter directly into the charging port on the unit.
  • Charge the unit for 4-5 hours.
  • ‘99’ will be indicated on the display when the battery is fully charged
  • If the unit displays an ‘E6’ error code, the power switch is not in the ON position or the battery is incorrectly installed.
  • To use the docking station to recharge the battery, you need to make sure the docking station is correctly installed. Plug the power adapter into the wall and the adapter into the docking station.
  • Ensure that the docking station has at least 40 inches of clearance on one side, 12 inches to the opposing side and not obstructions in front of it.
  • To test the return to docking feature, turn the robot ON and press the center power button until 00 with a docking icon is displayed.
  • The robot should back into the docking station for recharging if the appropriate space was provided.
