Follow these steps to resolve issues with no/low spray:
General Maintenance
- Cleaning & maintaining your BISSELL products will solve 90% off common machine issues
- Routinely cleaning your solution filter, brush roll, and spray tips can prevent spray issues & ensure optimal performance
- Inspect your brush / pump belt & replace if it is worn, damaged, or missing
- Formula tank & 2-in-1 tank must have liquid in them in order for machine to spray (if either tanks are empty machine will not spray)
1
Check brush roll / pump belt
Brush roll & pump responsible for spray are operated by same belt
- Plug in & turn ON machine while it is in upright position
- Check to see that brush roll is spinning freely through foot window
You may need to change belt if brush roll is not turning
- Go to Brush Not Turning to resolve, otherwise continue troubleshooting
2
Check formula tank & 2-in-1 tank
Turn OFF & unplug machine
- Press recline pedal & lay machine flat against ground
Remove 2-in-1 tank
- Inspect tank for deformation, cracks, or holes
- Inspect red gasket on tank for tears, cracks, or if it is missing
- Inspect valve on bottom of tank for cracks, if it is stuck, or if it is missing
- Order a replacement if tank is damaged in any way > Parts & Supplies

Check foot for spray
Turn ReadyTools™ dial to floor cleaning setting

- Machine will not spray if both formula tank & 2-in-1 tank are not filled
- Ensure both tanks are fully seated in machine
- Plug in & turn ON machine
- Recline machine by pressing recline pedal
- Press & hold spray trigger button & check flow indicator
- Flow indicator will spin when trigger is pressed to indicate machine is spraying properly & will stop spinning when tanks need to be refilled or trigger is released
Clean flow indicator if not spinning - Turn machine OFF & unplug
- Lay handle flat against ground
- Unscrew cap & remove red rotor & white filter
- Clean both of these parts & return them to machine
- Twist cap back on, ensuring that it is aligned properly & do not overtighten

Check spray tips
Spray tips may be clogged if there is no water flow
- Remove both formula tank & 2-in-1 tank
- With machine reclined fully, turn it over to expose brush roll
- Pull brush roll away from machine
- Clean spray tips with a soft brush or microfiber cloth
- Turn machine over & return machine to upright position
If machine is still not spraying from foot, we can likely repair this issue at an authorized service center, otherwise continue troubleshooting
