The vacuum is easy to assemble, just slide the handle onto the machine and screw the 2 screws into existing holes with a Phillips-head screw driver.

 

Connect the 8 ft stretch hose to the back of the unit by sliding in the tabs with the elbow facing down and twist to the right to lock in place. Wrap the hose in the upper hose clip and slide into the foot door.

 

The long, 30 foot cord easily wraps around the cord clips on the back of the unit.

 

The PowerLifter Pet has specialized tools to clean up after pet hair from multiple surfaces including hard to reach areas.

 

1)The flexible pet crevice tool stores on the back of the vacuum. Use like a standard crevice tool with suction at the end for cleaning corners and around baseboards. With a quick twist of the wrist, the suction switches from being at the end of the tool to the side, turning the crevice tool into a long-reach, pet-hair cleaning brush. A long row of rubber bristles surrounds the suction path to easily remove tough, embedded pet hair on furniture and pet beds and in hard-to-reach areas.

3)The pet TurboEraser tool stores on the handle of the vacuum – remove tool by pulling away and then downward. The tool features a rotating brush that is great for stairs and other small carpeted areas.

 

4)For quick clean-ups on furniture use the pet hair eraser tool to sweep up pet hair using with or without the vacuum. This tool does not store on-board.

There are five height settings available on this vacuum for various floor surfaces, turn the dial on the foot of the vacuum to the desired setting. If the vacuum is difficult to push, turn the dial to a higher setting.

The vacuum features powerful suction and a triple action™ brush roll to loosen, lift and remove embedded dirt & hair from multiple surfaces.

On carpet the different bristle lengths work together to go deeper into carpet fibers, lifting and removing embedded dirt and pet hair. The long silk-like bristles gently remove the fine debris on hard flooring.

The vacuum is also lightweight, easy to maneuver and to empty with a large capacity dirt bin. Press the empty button and twist the lid clockwise and lift the lid off to empty. Make sure you align the lid to the tank on a flat surface to reinstall.
