If there is noticeable dirt escaping from your PowerGlide®, these tips may help the issue:

• Before you begin, turn off and unplug your vacuum
• Check to see if the dirt container is full. If it is, you’ll want to empty it
• To start, press the tank release button, grab the handle and pull the container away from the vacuum
• To empty the container, press the tank empty button over a waste basket
• Now close the bottom hatch
•  The filters may be missing, to access the pre-motor filter, remove the top of the tank by twisting counter clockwise and up.
• Then pull up on the filter cover tab
• To put the tank lid back on, line up the arrow symbol with the unlock symbol on the tank, and twist clockwise to lock into place
• Next check for the post motor filter. With the tank off, press the red button and pull off the filter cover
• To re attach the filter cover, push the bottom in first and tilt it back until it clicks into place
• Dirt will escape if the tank is not seated properly. Line up the bottom of the tank with the base and tilt back until it clicks into place

With both filters installed and the dirt tank empty and seated properly, you’re ready to get back to cleaning with your PowerGlide®
