Cleaning dirty filters on your PowerGlide/CleanView Lift-Off vacuum is easy, we’ll show you how
- To start, turn off and unplug your vacuum
- Now press the tank release button, grab the handle of the tank and pull it away from the vacuum
- Next, lift up on the tab attached to the filter cover to remove it
- There are two filters, one foam filter on top and a thinner fiber filter underneath. Both are washable
- To wash the filters, rinse them under running water and set them out to dry
- Wait until they are completely dry before putting them back. Put the thinner fiber filter in first followed by the foam filter, and then the filter cover on top
- To clean the pleated post motor filter, remove it by pulling on the tabs
- Next, gently tap it on the edge of a waste basket
- Now put the filter back on by pushing it straight back until each side clicks. Finally, replace the filter cover and dirt tank
That’s it. Now you’re ready to get back to cleaning with fresh filters
