Clearing Clogs | How to Videos | C4 Cyclonic® Canister Vacuum

Video Transcript:

Poor pickup may be due to a clog in your C4 Cyclonic vacuum. If you notice a change in the sound of the motor or lower suction, check for clogs.

First, empty the dirt tank.

Make sure the filters are clean. Refer to our Cleaning Filters video for instructions.

Next, remove the hose from the handle and the base. Straighten the hose and use a broomstick to push any clogs out.

Then check the hose connector on the front of the machine for obstructions. Check the hose for any cracks or other damage. If the hose looks worn, it will need to be replaced.

Dirty brushes or loose belts may also contribute to lowered suction. Refer to our Changing Belts video for instructions on how to check the brush roll and belt.

If your C4 Cyclonic canister vacuum still has lower suction than normal after trying these steps, please visit the nearest BISSELL Authorized Service Center.
