Why pets? It’s our love for pets that drives us to design products that help make pet messes, odors and pet homelessness disappear. BISSELL proudly supports BISSELL Pet Foundation® and its mission to help save pets in need.
June is both the ASPCA’s Adopt a Shelter Cat Month and the American Humane Association’s Adopt a Cat Month. That makes it a very special month for cats. At BISSELL and Fear Free, we have a soft spot for shelter kitties, and we want to help them find homes. Here are 12 tips for finding just the right one to join your family and how to ensure a happy homecoming.
So much has changed in the last few weeks, and we know things will continue to change every day, but one thing that will never falter is the joy pets bring to our lives. These are times unlike any other, and it didn’t take long into self-quarantine for us to realize that the pets we once rescued are now rescuing us.
A favorite perk for some Associates at BISSELL Headquarters is the fact that we are a pet-friendly workplace. That means on any given day you can walk the halls and encounter nearly a dozen dogs working alongside their parents. One dog Associates often have the pleasure of seeing during the work day is Moose. Just last month, the rescued English Springer Spaniel celebrated his sixth birthday!
If you ask any pet parent what a pet adds to life, the first few things they will likely say are joy and companionship, not messes. But as every pet parent knows, a furry companion is bound to have an accident every once and awhile. Luckily, with the right pet stain and odor removal tools on hand, cleaning up those messes is no big deal. Those unexpected pet messes and the inevitable odors are what inspire us every day in our labs. The results are effective stain and odor removal products for pet messes, no matter big or small.
BISSELL has a long-standing partnership with Puppy Bowl and is bringing the MVP award to the show this year.
One dog who’s a regular around here is Jem. While her dad, BISSELL Associate Colin, spends his day working as a Senior Industrial Designer, Jem spends hers getting attention from Colin’s fellow Associates.
Many people say their holidays are incomplete without things like decorations, snow on the ground, cookies, gifts, music, and so much more. But if you ask us, the one thing that completes our holidays is our beloved holiday cleaning checklist. We know for a lot of people, cleaning is their least favorite thing about this season, but hear us out, because we just may change your mind.
One of the more stressful parts of getting your home ready for the holidays is planning your parties and how you’ll host your family. All it takes is the smallest hiccup to throw that planning off track. At BISSELL®, we’re firm believers that messes, no matter their size, should not be the thing that crashes your party.
They call it the most wonderful time of the year, but it can also be one of the most mess-prone times of the year. Don’t let merry messes bring your holiday spirit down. Here’s a list of products that are perfect for cleaning up some of the season’s most notorious spills and stains.
For pets, holidays can seem more like a holidaze: they can be stressed by all the to-ing and fro-ing, the visitors coming and going, the strange decorations, the increased number of package deliveries, and even the enticing aromas of holiday baking and roasting.
Black Friday is one of those days that always creeps up on me and when it arrives, I can’t help but check out all the steals and deals. I love it, not just for the sales, but for the reminder that it’s time to start buying presents for loved ones for the holidays.
At BISSELL®, we’re passionate about all things pet. That includes rescuing pets and making it easier to be a pet owner. That’s why so many of our pet products don’t just clean up after pets, they also give you the opportunity to help a homeless pet find a forever home. The passion we at BISSELL have for pets is apparent in so many aspects of our day to day, including our pet friendly workplace policy. On any given day, you can walk through the halls of our headquarters and see a dozen or so dogs working alongside their owners. Most days, Hugo and his mom, BISSELL Associate Liz are included in that group.
