As we prepare for the upcoming holidays, we can’t help but look back and reflect on our most memorable. Why? Because we know this holiday will be unlike any we’ve ever known. But when we look to find some commonality, we recognize all of the wonderful years past shared something in common: some sort of mishap or mess! Like the year the Christmas tree fell not once, but twice, into the middle of the living room. Or that time the cat swatted and broke every single ornament hanging on the bottom level of the tree…

To say a lot of life happens on our floors doesn’t really begin to tell the story of how much our floors witness over the course of our lives. They are the foundation of our homes and the bedrock of our safe space. They get to see so many cute things, like babies learning to crawl and take their first steps, snoozing pups and playful kittens. They also get to see the not-so-cute things, like drool, shedding, mud, spills, accidents, and so much more. All of those memorable and not-so-memorable moments on our floors are exactly the reasons why keeping them clean is so important.

Those unexpected pet messes and the inevitable odors are what inspire us every day in our labs. The results are effective stain and odor removal products for pet messes, no matter big or small.

That means that how to get a stain out is a tough question to answer. We get asked all the time how to remove stains, what is the best stain remover for carpet, or how to remove set-in stains, and we usually start with the question: Do you have any idea what kind of stain it is? If not, that’s fine. We can help with that too. But there are also some common messes we think everyone should know how to clean up, so we’re sharing tips on how to get a stain out for three pretty popular messes.

When do you spay or neuter a dog or cat? For years, you’ve probably heard that the best age for this reproductive surgery is six months, but times change. Veterinary experts and pet owners are taking a closer look at when it should occur. And the answer isn’t what you might think.

Don’t let your kick off to summer be ruined by stains and spills around your house. With people running in and out, it’s inevitable that stains will happen, but we have a great solution.

Winter is still in full effect, which means both you and your pet are spending more time indoors. Frigid temps mean more cuddles by the fire, but also mean accidents become more common when your pet finds it’s too chilly to ‘go’ outside. But not to worry, this common stain can be easily tackled if you stick to the tips below.
