Reduced Suction | How to Videos | BARKBATH™

If you run into suction issues while using your BARKBATH™, here are some helpful tips:
  • While cleaning hair build-up may form around the nozzle or on the mesh screen clear it off as needed
  • You may not be contacting your dog's coat firmly enough for suction
  • Be sure to press enough for suction to occur
  • With the machine turned off check under the dirty water tank and clear off any dirt or debris surrounding the suction inlet and gasket
  • A full tank of dirty water will also affect suction
  • Empty the tank and securely latch when replacing
  • Debris may buildup in the hose
  • Fix this by suctioning hot water through the hose
  • A loose machine hose will affect suction as well
  • Make sure the hose is secured
  • Your machine may have lost its prime
  • Hold the trigger for 15 to 20 seconds until it starts to spray
  • Make sure the siphon tube in the shampoo tank is below the formula, if not readjust the position of the tank so it can pull shampoo
You should now have suction back when using your BARKBATH™
