I had bought a clearance vacuum as my first vacuum. I bought it for $60 but I am moving soon so I am leaving my vacuum with the person that will be staying in my old home. I wanted something to help pick up more pet hair since we recently rescued a dog. I bought this hoping it would be a little better. A few days after I vacuumed with my old vacuum I used this for the first time. I had to empty the bin 3 times while cleaning, only after a few days. The extra emptying is not bad, I'm just glad it's getting all the dirt my old one was missing. Love the Febreeze filter as well. Great vacuum. Thanks!

this vacuum is better than my old Bissell that i bought when i first moved out 4 years ago it has so many new features such as the pet hair eraser and the pet hair removal wand plus it has side edge cleaner that other vacuums lack to have i love this thing

my first vaccume that i got when i moved out was a Bissell power force 12 amp and i used it for 4 years now that i am getting married we got some money and i saw this one on tv and since we have cats we should get this one and i have to say that bissell is a tough vaccume and it beats hoover hands down my dad bought a hoover that was self propelled and it ate belts then he bought the bissell power force so they are now bissell fans just like me

The 1st time I used it was this morning after I carpet cleaned my house. I was very impressed with how light this machine is, how easy it is to maneuver around furniture, and how much suction this machine has. I feel that this machine lives up to its name and is well worth the money I spent, without breaking the bank. Thanks.

I have had several vacuums before the Total Floors Pet Vacuum and there is no comparison to it. I thought my others picked up dirt and pet hair from my carpet but this one beats them all.
It is amazing how much it picks up each time and easy to empty the cup!

This is my 2nd Bissell product. I also had the other total floors Bissell and after 7 years it was loosing its suction. So I went on-line and reviewed quite a few different products and still kept coming back to the Bissell. Cannot compare other products to the Bissell. Just LOVE MINE. Picking up cat litter dust that I did not realize was in my carpets. Thank you for your product, I am very happy with my purchase.

This is my second Bissell vaccuum and I think they make some of the best vaccumm's on the market. We have two dogs and three parrots so we have a lot of mess and this vaccuum does the job. Great on the dog hair and for moving from the different types of floors. Light weight and the wheels on this one are really nice. Putting together was a pain but as they have said they are working on a better guide. Other than that, I am very happy!

I love this vacuum. It picks up pet hair very well and the edge cleaning is great! Having a German Shepherd who's sheds almost year round, this was a great product to buy. I also like the fact you can easily switch to hardwood floors and use the tools with ease.

Has alot of power, I was using a 500.00 vaccume, this vaccume works way better. It actually fluffed up my carpet, and all the hair was picked up, no clumps of hair left behind. Also does not leave vaccume lines in carpet. Love it

Just got my Bissell Total Floor-Pet and have used it several times already. We have a new place and are very concerned about keeping the carpet clean and free of our dog's hair and track in dirt. This vacuum has not disappointed us, it picks up both the dirt and fur on the carpet as well as the hard floors in the kitchen and foyer and the attachments do a great job on our furniture. Of course, as I mentioned, this is new, so the real test of endurance is just beginning...Fingers crossed.

This was the answer to all of our Pet Hair problems. We have a one year old cat and a 9 month old Golden Lab. The amount of pet hair in our house is crazy! Especially only the base boards which was super hard to get to until I bought this product. I was hesitant at first because all products claim to help with Pet Hair, but this one owned up to what it stated. I swear the amount of hair I dumped just after cleaning the bedrooms was the size of a small dog in itself. It even goes from carpet to tile in a snap and has an edge tool that you actually stick in the vacuum which makes it so much easier! Thank you Bissell for making such an amazing product. We will be buying from you again!

I brought it because it allowed me to use it on carpet, tile, and hardwood, but it was somewhat of a hassle to install. The information was not clear and the worst part to install was the febreeze filter, which was hard just to open. However, it was a great vacuum because it worked very well and the febreeze worked like a charm. The edge cleaning was a convince because I don't have to get tools to clean the edge.

assembly instruction were VERY vague. clearer photos would have made assembly much easier. seems to have very good suction. noise was acceptable. not ant worse than our old one. large wheels make using very easy. would refer this cleaner to friends.

Unbelievable! I thought my carpets were clean after I vacuumed them with my Dirt Devil. Was I surprized! Even in small areas like the bedroom hallway it picked up pet hair, human hair, and fine dust particles. I bought this machine because I have two dogs that shed alot and I was tired of finding pet hair everywhere. I am convinced that Bissell products are the best on the market. Thank you for the reviews on your machines. They helped me find what I was looking for!

LOVE it! The instructions weren't as bad as I'd read in other reviews, I thought, but the pictures could be a little clearer. We have a white cat and German Shepherd/Rottweiler mix dog that both shed horribly! I used my old vacuum twice before using the new one - just to see what would happen. This vacuum EASILY picked up twice what the old one did; immediately after the previous vacuuming!! I didn't think it was any louder than any other vacuum we've had.
I hope that, eventually, there will be a choice of Febreze smells to choose from. Almost all of our cleaning products have the Febreze Gain smell. :#
My ONLY complaint is that the edge suction/brush is only on ONE side. Turning the vacuum around to do the other edge in the hallway is inconvient #but not undoable) and corners are impossible to get completely.

Pain in the neck to put together. The instruction booklet has unclear photos. Once I got it together I turned it on and was amazed at how much "stuff" it picked up off rugs I vacuumed five days ago with an expensive top of the line vacuum. I wasted a lot of money on that "top of the line vacuum" and could not be happier with your Bissell product.
Thank you, Thank you and Thank you again for a great product for people with pets and lots of pet hair.
I now am actually Happy to vacuum because I can see such a difference on my rugs.

I totally LOVE this vacuum and I've only had it for about 4 days! I've got 3 dogs and 3 cats and am also a hospital volunteer with my dog Lady. We go to visit patients who dearly love her as well as do the doctors and nurses. There is one particular doctor who completely loves Lady. He takes her into his inner office and puts her on the sofa and gives her treats! The hospital has other volunteer dogs besides Lady but she's got a huge fan base there! And all the dr. offices of my personal medical visits request me to take her with me when I go for my own personal appointments! My dogs let me vacuum them with some of the attachments and it cuts the hair down too. If she had loose shedding hair then the hospital would definately complain. This wonderful machine cuts it way down!
My other dogs are a Jack Russell and a young German Shepherd plus 3 rescue kitties. They all leave me a huge amount of animal hair and dander and this vacuum doesn't leave one trace of it. Its fantastic!

Once you get pass the horrible instructions as to how to put it together. It is a great easy to use vaccuum. I test it out in my living room om a carpet I thought was clean. In the vaccuum canister, it looked liked I had a second pet. I was amazed. It glides so easily & yes its a little loud, but don't care. I have a very low carpet which was hard for me to vaccuum until now.

I bought this product because I have 2 long hair cats that shed all over the carpet. It was so frustrating to use vacuums with suction that wasn't strong enough. This vacuum is strong enough to pick up the pet hair without clogging! Great buy!

This vacuum works even better than I hoped/expected. We have two dogs in the house who shed A LOT and this did an amazing job cleaning the carpets. The Febreeze filter is an added bonus...no more "doggy smell" after vacuuming. I would highly recommend this product.

I've got three cats and no carpets in my apartment. Their fur gets on all of my furniture and turns into obnoxious tumbleweeds on the floor. I sweep daily, but it doesn't really help. I was looking into getting one of the Dyson ball vacs, but it was simply out of my budget. When I saw this at Walmart, I figured it wouldn't hurt to try.
It's amazing, to put it bluntly. The fur eraser tool works magic, and I didn't have to do more than two pass overs with it to get the hair out of my black futon. It picked up a lot in doing just a single room. I was honestly surprised, and a little disgusted to see just how much fur and debris I was missing with just my broom.
The downsides to this vac are- Annoying to put together. You NEED a screwdriver. Period. You can't go without one, as I learned.
Noisy. Yeah, it's a little loud, but that's fine.
I also used it on the areas where my cats walk out of their litter box, and instead of sucking up the stuff on the floor, it just kind of threw it around. Looks like I have to sweep it and then vacuum the spot later.
Overall, this is a great vacuum for the price, and I am happy I took a gamble.
