The sweeper itself is great and powerful. Filled up the dirt container with dog hair. However, the extension wand needs to be longer in order to reach the baseboards without bending over. Since I have spinal stenosis and herniated disc, this was quite awkward for me. Also, the sweeper kept falling over when I used the extension wand, and it also left a mark in the high nap when it stool still. There should be an indicator light to tell you when the brush has been lifted. Please tell me if I am doing something wrong when in use. Thank you.

this is an Awesome vacuum! i used it to clean my blinds yesterday- much better than spraying with cleaner and wiping clean. So excited to find this new use for a vacuum!

The Total Floors Pet vaccum is fantastic!! It picked up dog hair on my rug that my other vaccum cleaner always left behind. I love the clean fresh scent of the febreeze filter. I would recommend this product to all my friends and family.

Yes this vacuum does pick up but the noise is horrible!!!!! I can't stand running it just because of the noise! I prefer my LG anyday!!!! I have two vacuums because where I live it is SO dusty and I have animals. I buy the bagless and while one is being cleaned I always have a back up. I prefer the LG anyday...even over the Dyson Animal I had.

I could not believe the amount of dirt that came out of my carpet the first time I used it. I only cleaned my living room/dining area and the container was full of dirt. I just keep getting more dirt out of my carpet each time I use it. Easy to use and easy to take apart to clean filters, etc. Great buy.

When I 1st used it, I was amazed that ALL that dirt & dust was on my area rugs!! Love the ease of going onto my hardwood floors with just an adjustment!! Then using the pet tool on my love seat, where my dog sits, could not believe that much hair was there, but I never saw it!!
The easiness of this vaccume amazes me, I empty it after every use and love the febreze smell that is really lightly scented when I do use it.
I am so happy I looked for weeks for the perfect vaccume at a decent price for our home with mostly hardwood floors with large area rugs here & there. I love the close up cleaning to the walls with hardly any effor and after I am done, I KNOW my home is clean, cuz I am dumping it in the trash and I keep it washed out and like new!! Would change nothing!! LOVE IT!!

I really like this vacuum, it has worked great so far. I also was impressed with the suction. The attachment holder set up could be much better, the extension keeps falling off when I use the hose.

Just bought this vacuum a little over a month now and cannot be amazed Everytime ... It picks up so much ! Just recently tested it In a room where a right after another vacuum was used and this machine sucked out a bucket! Even as it was the second vacuum in that room! 2 things I do notice and could use revamp ... The extension is short and only get one. And I've noticed dust streaks around the febreeze filter. Maybe some gaskets around that section ?
Now my question to Bissel , because its not clear , can I use a Hepa Style 9 filter in place of the Febreeze filter? Other than those small details ... It awesome !

The Total Floors Pet vacuum does a tremendous job of cleaning the carpets and furniture in our house. We have 2 dogs and 3 cats so hair could be a problem but not with this cleaner.
On the tile floors it doesn't always pick up piece/debris. It's like it can't get close enough to the floor or gets too close and pushes it around.
This is the second Bissell that we have owned. The features that we miss on this vacuum is that the canister doesn't detach so that you could carry it and use it and the little light.
The only other thing was the Frebreze filter. We have allergies to fragrances so this wasn't a pleasant experience. We had to buy a filter without scent as one didn't come with it.
Compared to other vacuums that we have owned over the years, this isn't really a heavy cleaner as far as weight. The price was reasonable and we would recommend Bissell to our friends looking for a cleaner.

So cool! I just want to keep vacuuming. I am amazed at how much dirt and hair it picks up. My carpets feel so soft too! I wonder what my last vacuum thought it was doing. This is amazing! The added bonus is how clean the room smells when I'm done vacuuming.

Bought the Total Floors Pet vacuum last week after looking at some of the reviews. It is much quieter than my old vacuum and I love the Turbo Eraser; makes it easy to get the cat fur off our couch, pillows, etc. I also like the fact that you can turn off the brush to clean hardwood or tile floors. It does a great job on our carpet too. I would recommend it to anyone, even if you don't have pets! The assembly instructions aren't real clear but I found the video on the website and it was very helpful.

I purchased the Total Floors Pet Vac because I have 5 dogs and 3 cats. It picks up a lot more pet hair on my carpet than my 12 year old Bissell did and makes the room smell GREAT! However, when it comes to my vinyl floors it blows a lot of the pet hair around and won't pick up small pieces of food or what ever the dogs drag in. It works OK on my area rugs but not great. Could just be the nap though. All in all I'm very happy with my Total Floors Pet Vac. I do sweep less because it picks up more hair in the carpet. So it's all good.

First i do like 80% of this cleaner - the suction is great, the pet hair grabber is the best thing i have ever used to clean puppy hairs from furniture.
The dust cup is easy to remove and is a cup without a filter in it so you do not have to get your hands dirty LOVE that!!! The filter is washable and easy to keep clean very nice feature. The 35' cord is the perfect length for our home.
The 20% i am not very please with and Bissell could easily revamp in the next model.....
When u try to put the hose back in the sweeper it is not very cooperative the fit is lacking easy of use, PLUS there should be a handle on the hose to help assist the shoving and pulling at this junction. (very annoying)
There is only 1 extention for the hose and it is 10" too SHORT... I am 5'3 and need to bend to reach the floor no way can I reach the ceiling corners of my home like i did with my last sweeper which had 2 extention pcs. The crevice tool is way too SHORT also only 4"..... gives you only a 14" reach total when connected.
The tool storage needs a revamp big time .... the design is lacking and annoying. I needs to have longer plastic receptions for the tools to rest in so they STAY on and do not fall off so easily. (when you are trying to clean and have keep messing with the tools to keep them in place it becomes very frustrating) hope they fix this in the next model.
The stretch hose could be a tad bit longer. (I would like another foot)
Purchased at Walmart ... and they do not carry the belts this is just wrong !! I need one today not after the mail arrives next week.... so if you buy this sweeper go right to Bissell.com and get replacement belts so you are not stuck without when the need arises.
I dislike the smell of FEBREEZE so that filter is off the sweeper .... if you like it you will LOVE the filter .... I want a plain filter no SMELL.... not sure if I can get that here.
This is a heavy sweeper .... FYI (not a minus just beware)

I was awe struck by what came up from livingroom carpet.I ran my old Bissell everyday and then 1 day I notice it didn't have good power.It just wasn't picking up stuff.Nothing was blocked or stopped up,new clean bag.So I went and bought this vaccum.Boy,I was amazed and upset because so much came up,filled the tank.Filled the tank for 3 days straight.This Bissell is amazing,I love it and hughly recommend it!! I have 1 Large dog in the house with a short coat ,but she still leaves dog hair in the carpet,but this Bissell picks it up so well.I am just amazed!!

My family has multiple pets (cats & dogs) and they all shed. With my new Bissell pet hair is not a problem! It is wonderful on the carpets, tile and the furniture!! I'd recommend it strongly to anyone!! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!

This vaccum features good suction power for such a light weight vaccum. It is light enough to carry up and down stairs yet tough enough to do my dirty work! We have a very hairy, constantly shedding sweet 11 year old lab. It is simply amZing how great this picks up the dog hair! I love the light weight easy push with it and great cleaning power. I love the rotary brush for stairs and upholstery and am also very impressed with the fabric brush because of course our dog sleeps with us! The freebreeze filter is an added bonus!

Bought this vacuum yesterday at Walmart and was looking at the display models to compare apples to apples, but this one was only in the box and not on display.
But having pets and looking at the box and reading about the family with a border collie I figured it looked good. My last vacuum was a pet and dust Bissell that lasted about 3 years and did a good job and I really liked the dust separator in the canister that it had, and this one looked about the same but cost about $60.00 more than the last one I had. Without knowing about the reviews and needing a vacuum I got this one. The last one had a less quality hose but a longer handle on the end to pull out of the back for vacuuming from a standing position. It could reach the ceiling and walls with the 24"extension attachments. This one has a better hose but you have to bend over to pull or push it in at the bottom of the vacuum without a handle, the attachments together are only about 12" long and a pain to pull out if the hose is wrapped around the back. If your standing up the attachments won't reach the floor unless your 4' tall so forget reaching the ceilings. Plus you can't use it in dark areas because there's no light.

I love this vacuum! The rubberized turbo pet brush is the best thing I have EVER used to remove pet hair from furniture, throw pillows and curtains. With a Black Lab, Golden retriever and 7 cats all in the house I have tried a few pet hair remover products. I also love the suction and the crevice tool with port that cleans along the walls without bending.

We just bought this vacuum 2 weeks ago and all ready the spinning brish on the bottom is faulty. When I turn the brush off to do the wood floors it continues to spin.....very dissapointed becuase at first it worked great!

Over all when it comes right down to it. i absolutely love this vacuum. my husband and i have 10 month old twin boys, 2 long haired cats that shed like crazy and also 2 dogs, a Queensland Healer and a Husky. So as you can see we have a lot of things going against us, on trying to keep up on the house and pet hair issues. I love that it ISN'T extremely heavy like other heavy duty vacuums i have tried using in the passed. it goes from one surface area to another with great ease. I absolutely love all the extensions and multiple features it has. The Total Floors Pet 61C5-W Series has made picking up pet hair off of my floors and couches a breeze. I also, love the fact that it has the Febreze filter so that it always smells fresh during and after i vacuum. instead of smelling like dust dirt and pets. The only reason why i gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is the fact that the drive belt stretched after only using it for about a month, and then we couldn't find them to buy anywhere except for on the Bissell site. over all it is great!

We bought the Total Floor Pet to replace a 9-year-old Dirt Devil that had seen its better days. I assembled the vacuum while my husband was in the shower (about 20 minutes), although I did have a little trouble deciphering the pictures in the manual which are very dark. However, once I got it put together and turned it on, I couldn't believe how much dirt it picked up on just a short run through our living room. A couple days later when I vacuumed the whole house, I was almost embarrassed that our floors were that filthy! The vacuum is very lightweight and easy to maneuver. The attachments are more than adequate. It's extremely easy to empty out the dirt. So far, we are thrilled with the purchase!

I always had old Bissell and Hoover vacuum's growing up and they did a good job and lasted forever, so I thought I would get one myself. I just moved in to my place 3 weeks ago and hadn't vacuumed yet, but it looked pretty clean - when I pushed the vacuum 4 feet I couldn't believe how much stuff it had already picked up. Very impressive. The only question I have is - was it supposed to come with an attachment to go in the edge cleaning port, or is that separate?

I just purchased my new vacuum yesterday, and ran through the whole house. I was so very impressed with its power and its ability to grab up pet hair. (I have three dogs, and two cats - and hair has always been a nightmare!) I thought my old vacuum did an "okay" job - but after just one use of my new Total Floors - Pet machine - I know I was very wrong!
This vacuum is lightweight, and easy to manuever. It rolls easily accross the floor, and the adjustable handle reduces back ache from hunching over. It moves from carpet to regular floor with ease, and it is relatively quiet - which is great toward reducing the stress from the pets. The attachments are wonderful, and I love the mini-beater bar!
The instructions for assembly were a little confusing, and some of the example pictures were a little dark, but I was able to figure it all out without too much trouble.
I am very pleased with this vacuum, and with my purchase - and definitely recommend this as a necessary tool for any pet owner who likes clean floors!

The vacuum was packed great. Very simple to put together. Suction not as strong as I expected. The turbo brush will not spin at all. I can make it turn a couple of turns, if I reach inside the plastic cover and turn it with my finger. Machine is used to clean up rugs and hardwood floors. I owned an older Bissell, and it had a better pick-up power.

This is the bast vacuum ever and I have had many!!!
It picks up things I didn't know were on my floor. It is the best, can't say enough.
The directions however were the worst directions ever printed for anything! I didn't find the online directions much better. I took my engineering husband and myself a good half hour to put it together. With that behind me I am enjoying cleaner carpets and it's a joy to vacuum!!!

I have always had a Bissell and when this one came out I went and bought it. I love how it works, best one I have owned yet only issue I have at the current moment is can not even use it since the drive belt is broken and can not even get a new one any where since not available. And what makes it even more upsetting is I have only used the vacuum a few times before the drive belt broke.
All in all this is a wonderful vacuum, it really does pick up the pet hair better than a regular vacuum would. And the added plus is the Frebreze sent that is left while using the product...makes the house smell nice in my opinion.
