You have got to be kidding!!! Was my first reaction when I used this vacuum. I could not believe all the stuff that was in my carpet. I only did my bedroom and had to empty the container And I currently do not have an inside cat or dog. I saw cat hair in there from almost a year ago. I have had three vacuums in three years and this one trumps all. I have only owned this vacuum for under 12 hours and only did one room. I can't wait to use it on the rest of the house. I love the clean smell it left in my bedroom and the way the carpet felt soft and like new after.

This is our family's second Bissell and I wouldn't have it any other way. It goes above and beyond the standards! I have pets and children so vacuuming is a daily duty. It takes care of all of the wood floors without leaving a scratch and then is amazing with all the carpets and rugs. It doesn't stop there... The couches and all other surfaces get cleaned as well. Not many other vacuum's can keep up with this one.

I have had this vacuum for less than a year, I cleaned all filters, hoses are not clogged , brush roll spins , belt is good, but still a loud jet NOISE !!! i cant believe the poor quality of this machine plz help in directing me what i can do ? very dissappointed in this product

I love this vacuum! I can do the wood floors and then turn the brush on and do the carpets (shh but I vacuum the couch too) I have 4 dogs to keep after. This is by far the best I have ever owned BUT.. I am having trouble keeping the febreeze cover on - it blows off when I am vacuuming and I have to wrap the cord around the barrel to hold it in place and makes for very hard vacuuming.. Any idea or Advice???

Bought this sweeper approx 15 months ago when I got a German Shepherd. The sweeper ran well for the first year and then started to clog even though I emptied it everytime I used it. The other day, the engine got very loud and started blowing all the dirt out all the orifices. I checked all the filters and found nothing to be blocked to include the suction tube.
There is a dealer approximately 35 miles away that I could take it to but after reading the reviews for them (all bad) it sounds like it will be approximately 6 months before I get it back from them if then. So I have to go out and buy a new sweeper even if this one is warranted.

we got this less then 6 months ago from best buy and have gone through 4 belts. The belts were official belts from Bissell. thinking this vacuum is just plain defective. am going to return it and try another hopefully have better luck.

Vacuum broke within 2 years, called Bissell on June 14th and was told Product was covered under warranty, was told to bring for repair to Vacuum Way Appliance in Kingston, Pa. They told me the motor is blown and it is not covered. When I bought product I cleaned regularly based on cleaning instructions on Bissell.com Motors on a vacuum should NOT fail before the original belt!!!
