If your Powergroom Pet Compact vacuum is louder and not suctioning, it could be due to clogs.
- Check the pre-motor and post-motor filters for debris. Also check the upper cyclone assembly as it may need to be rinsed. The foam filters can be hand washed in warm water and mild soap. Make sure the filters are completely dry before reusing. The post-motor filter cannot get wet.
- Check the brush and belt for damage by removing the access panel under your machine. There are 5 screws to remove to get access to the parts.
- Check the hose for any debris that may be restricting airflow.
If you are still having difficulty, we recommend taking your machine to a local vacuum service center for assistance.
