The red indicator light will illuminate & remain on when plugged in. Charge the unit completely for 16 hours prior to first use. When the unit is fully charged the indicator light will change from red to green. When the unit if fully discharged, approximately 6 hours of charging is required for the battery to regain full capacity. The unit will run up to 21 minutes once fully charged. PLEASE NOTE: The adapter may become warm during charging- this is normal. If the machine does run, but not for the full 21 minutes, a new battery pack may be needed.
