Answer: Turn the machine OFF and unplug the cord from the wall outlet. Step on the release pedal and lay the handle down on the floor. Remove the Tank-in-Tank. Remove the belt access door. Roll the machine over to expose the brush. Locate and remove the two Phillips head screws on the white retainers (one on both sides) which hold the black brush arms in place. Lift the brush roller and pull it to the right to remove it. Remove the left black brush arm. Remove the existing brush belt. Remove any carpet fibers or hair from the pulley area. Loop the new brush belt around the cogged end of the red pulley. Align the cogged end of the brush roller into the belt and replace the left arm while holding the brush up. Lay the brush assy into unit aligning the screw holes on the white retainers with the screw holes on the unit. Replace the Phillips head screws and turn until snug.
