My PROdry® has no power. What should I do?

Answer:

1. Unplug the cord and check the length of the cord for damage.  If the cord is damaged, please take your vacuum to a technician. You can find your nearest BISSELL® Authorized Service Center by clicking http://www.bissell.com/support/product-support/service-centers or by calling 1-800-237-7691, available 24 hours a day. 

2. Is the machine plugged into an extension cord? If so, try unplugging the extension cord and try the machine in another outlet.

3. Check the handle.  The handle must be fully inserted into the unit leaving no gaps, as shown below.

4. Try detaching the handle and checking the white wire harness.  Make sure the wire harness protrudes out fully and is parallel.  If it is not, pop the harness back out and reattach the handle.  Check for power again.

5. If the wire harness is protruding out as shown on the left above and the unit still won’t turn on with the handle attached, please take your ProDry® to a technician. You can find your nearest BISSELL® Authorized Service Center by clicking http://www.bissell.com/support/product-support/service-centers or by calling 1-800-237-7691, available 24 hours a day.
