The full bag indicator light stays on when the bag has been replaced on my Powerforce vacuum. How do I resolve this?


If the bag indicator light remains red on your BISSELL PowerForce, first detach the hose from the machine and turn the unit on. If the indicator light stays green, one of the hoses is clogged. If the light turns red, check the bag style to ensure you are using the correct bag and check the filter for debris. To check the upper hose for clogs, detach the upper hose from the back of the machine by the two screws. Using a broom stick handle, insert this into the hose pushing any dirt and debris to the other end for removal. The lower hose can be cleared by removing the screw and pulling the hose down for access to remove the dirt. If these suggestions do not solve the problem, please take your machine to a BISSELL Authorized Service Center.
