not very old and the trigger broke, I took it apart, flimsy plastic pegs are what broke. I could attach a wire and use it but it may make a very good garden stake out front, I get lots of foot traffic by my place.
I also have a SHARK!!! A+ (this was a gift-and my second broken bissell product, and my last.)

Used the product about 3 months ago; it worked as indicated. Followed proper procedures after using it and storing it. Plugged it in today, filled the water chamber and after 25 minutes - NO STEAM! Waited another 10 minutes - stil no steam. I have boxes of the wipes in storage and a useless steam mop.

why don't you make the hole in handle larger so you can run the cord thur it.that way you don't have to hold the cord with your hand , to keep it off the floor?

I have used my mop so often on apartments I manage. The handle is nice and sturdy, no bending as with other mopes. Leaves every thing
smelling so good.

I was very happy with this product for a little over a year. But, then the trigger broke and could not be fixed. I live in a small apt. And used this for a small bathroom and kitchen once a week. I am sad and disappointed that it only lasted a year.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Valszoo Has great potential, but...
I really like Swiffer products in general, so I thought the Steam Boost would be a slam dunk. I love the way it cleans, but I have some issues with the size and location of the steam trigger. I have arthritis and I find that using the steam trigger is very uncomfortable and hard for me to use. I use the steam boost for cleanups when I don't want to have to use my larger, heavier Bissell Symphony and I really like the ease of using the throw away cleaning pads. The steam trigger on the Bissell is flat and runs the full length of the handle (where you hold it) which makes it quite easy to use and I have no discomfort using it. I really prefer the results of the Swiffer Steam Boost over the Bissell Symphony, but because of the discomfort in using the Swiffer, I usually opt for the Bissell. Maybe you could do some research regarding the placement and type of steam trigger that would be more user friendly for customers like me.

I am on the 5th steamer now. The first four the trigger broke on all of them. I will not buy another one. When this one breaks I am just going to get my money back. If it wasn't for that the steamer would be great.
