I really had high hopes for this Steam Shot, its ok, not bad enough to return, but it drips a lot of water you have to be sure the attachments are on really good and they never seem to snap on correctly. I like it for steaming clothing once you get it to stop dripping, it works pretty well on the outdoor grill with the little wire brushes. I used it to clean the inside of my windowsills, did an ok job. The light on it never worked at all I think it is supposed to turn red when it is ready to use, but it never did.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Man who knows how to clean Works fine so far...but....its a little floppy
I have had one other steamer which was not a Bissell and it
stopped heating and had to be discarded. I missed having a steamer which I primarily use for hard surfaces in the bathroom. So, I replaced my steamer with this Bissell model. It heats really quickly which is good. I do not have to wait too long to get some steam. I have used it 2 or 3 times in the first month that I have had it. So, its not like I used it once and now it won't work like other reviews here. I would be angry if that were the case. When cleaning the bathroom, I used a rag to sop up water from the steam and occassionally have to set the steamer down which becomes a little unwieldy. There is the long rubberized hose and when that is on the steamer, the steamer won't sit upright and it can fall off any where you set it down. It would seem that designers could imagine that at some point in cleaning, the product needs to be set down for a minute or two and it should be able to stand upright, even if the hose is on but this is not the case. For this reason alone, I took off one star because it is difficult to secure if one has to set it down while cleaning.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Rick95 Fantastic product
So far the steam shot has exceeded expectations I know it is not for the floor. However, I just used it on a kitchen floor that had not been cleaned in 18 yrs. It was a little work but you should see the floor now. Too bad it didnt hold more water.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Jason Used Twice...no longer works
I liked it when I used it but I have only used it twice and now it won't work. Heats up but nothing after the trigger is pulled. I assume it's the rod inside the trigger that is frozen but there is no way I can see to get it look. I have tried using something to decalcifiy the tank but have had no luck. I have used the tips in the manual (paperclip) but have had no luck. I am past my one year warranty period so....Had I known this, I would not have bought it.

I got the bissell steam shot thinking id give them one more try and after 6 month steam won't come out. I've used paper clips to see if it was clogged and still won't work. loved it at first now I'm gonna have to go purchase yet another mini steamer and this time not bissell! so disappointed!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Rach925 Only worked once!
I was sooo excited to get this for Christmas! I had one years ago and it was great! I used it once to clean before my baby was born. When I went to use it after he was born it won't work. I've done all the tips to clean it! It makes steam and even trickles out the end but when I push the trigger nothing! It's like the trigger is broke! I'm so frustrated!

This baby steamer really does a good job . I do have another steamer and much bigger one and it is only 900 watts for a small steamer and 1000 watts . I do recommend this product . The steam that comes out from this baby is awesome. It does the job it heats very fast and it has too many attachments . Price range is not cheap nor expensive. I did rate it 4 stars just because when I used the squeegee attachment it dripped water maybe I use it wrong. Bissell please post a clear video how to use each attachment .
