Rated 4 out of 5 by Homeowner Amazing product
I saw this advertised on television and thought if it works as well as they say it is pretty amazing. We have a lot of dog hair on our floors and 2 kids running in and out all the time. I did vacuum the floors first to get most of the dog hair because I figured why fill the steam and sweep up with fur right away. It was very easy to put together, reasonably priced (found a $20 mail in rebate at the Bissell website) and lightweight. I had the entire (large) kitchen floor and hallway done in less than ten minutes. The only complaint I have is that you have to hold the button down to release the steam and my arm hurt towards the end. I ran it with the sweeper going to pick up anything I missed when I vacuumed. I would highly recommend this to anyone with linoleum floors (not sure how it works on other surfaces) as it is quick, easy and dries instantly. No more waiting until nobody else is home to wash the floor so it has time to dry.

Wonderful product, works great for steaming my hardwood floors... wish it was a little thinner so it would go under my furniture., but other than that i have no complaints, it does great for what its meant to do i would recommend it others.

I knew I wanted a steamer for our laminate wood floors but I had no idea which one to choose. I saw the Steam&Sweep Pet on clearance and took a chance on it. I absolutely love it. It was super easy to put together and I don't have to worry about harsh chemicals on my floors because all it takes is water. I have a 1 year old daughter who is very active and loves to play on our floors so cleanliness is a top priority for me. It only takes 15-20 seconds for it to heat up and then away you go! Its quiet enough not to disturb her during naptime even with the sweeper going which is a definite plus. The only downside I've seen is that it will catch the cord or any other cord you may run over. However, it is easily pulled out. The rag is super easy to clean, just throw it in the wash.

I love this product! We have a lot of foster animals running around most of the day and I was having to wait until late evening to sweep and wash the floors because of the chemicals used. Now I can sweep and clean, at one time, anytime of the day.

I love the steam part of this product, however, the sweep part leaves a lot to be desired. The instructions recommend that I vacuum (sweep) my floors prior to using the steam&sweep, which I did. Of course there's always more to sweep after the steam loosens anything stuck on (just the smallest of stuff.) The steam&sweep pet 46B43 failed to get up the remnants and I ended up having to vacuum my floors (with my Dyson) again after steam&sweeping. I could have saved money by just buying the regular steamer; oh well, live and learn!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Disappointed and Frustrated Too Tall!!
This steam mop works ok, but the base is too tall to clean under cabinets! What's the point of having a machine to mop the middle of the floor and then use a second mop to clean the dust and splash marks under the kitchen and bathroom cabinets?

I am happy with the product. If there is a lot of dog hair on the floor, I usually vacuum before using it, as I realize it's not really a vacuum. The sweeper works well for small amounts of dirt, debris and hair. It is a little hard to push since there are no wheels on the bottom, but as you go, you get used to it. It steams very well, heats up very quickly, is easy to refill and covers a nice-sized area with the large pad. The pads are very easy to take off and put on.

I have used the Steam & Sweep Pet one time. On first use, after I finally got the steam part to work, I was much excited and impressed with the cleaning on hardwood floors. It took up a spot that I thought was permanent. It did make the floors a little less shiny; but, they were definitely clean.
