i bought this to clean my steps. the cleaner sprays out the sides, sideways it sprays the step above and below, the other way it sprays the cleaner on the walls and moulding. i have a full size cleaner and the hand wand sprays directly down on the carpet. i bought the hand held cleaner because it is lighter and easier to carry, but it is worthless for the stairs. i will be returning it. would not recommend buying for step cleaning. why can't bissell make a sprayer like the full size cleaner, that sprays directly down on the area you are working on?

I wanted something to clean the upholstery that wasn't just a surface clean. I have tried sprays and wipes which really didn't do that great a job. The sprays seamed to attract more dirt. I have researched and read so many reviews. So, I decided go ahead and spend the money to buy this unit. I am so glad I did. I regularly vacuum my furniture, but knew that it needed more. Boy, was I right. I used it this week and could not believe the dirt that was left in the tank. If you are on the bubble as to whether to buy this or not, go ahead and do it. You wont be sorry!

I am a vet technician that rescues older and sick pets. I have an older FIV positive cat that has occasional vomiting and diarrhea on a beige carpet. This machine has taken out the stains every time! My 15 year old dog has dementia, and urinates and defecates on my oriental rug. This machine has taken out the smell and stain every time! I will certainly recommend this machine to all of my friends, especially if they have pets or kids.

I have had bissell portable spot cleaners for years with always good results. Unfortunately they wear out and necessitate replacement. I just assembled a new spot cleaner that is a replacement for my old green clean machine. This new cleaner is the flimsyest, most awkward product I have ever seen. Please bring back the green machine!! Clean up is almost impossible with the little rubber stoppers. Give me a break!!

The HOSE is TOO SHORT...YOU ALMOST HAVE TO CARRY IT ON YOUR BACK TO USE IT IN A CAR....WITH THAT IT SHOULD HAVE A CARRYING CASE OF SOME SORT TO BE ABLE TO DO CAR SEATS....

We purchased this product four days ago from a brick-and-mortar store to clean up a couple of areas that one of my large dogs got sick on after surgery. A few canned spot removers we tried only spread around the mess and made it worse. I didn't think anything would take the mess out completely - I was just hoping to make it less noticeable. We brought the SpotClean home, put it together (easy), and tried it. It completely removed the entire mess and the carpet was fairly dry right after I finished using it. I am very impressed. This machine is my new best friend and I'll be putting it to work on the couch and on some older stains in front of the fireplace in the near future. Thank you, Bissell, for such a great product!

I have tried many spot remove's. I used the cleaner on coffee and wine spots that have been cleaned many times.
The spots left and as to date have not returned. My only problem was the use of to much cleaning solutions. I will try a different approach next time to see if I had used the solutions wrong.
You will not be sorry to purchase the Cleaner.

With a four year old and a large puppy (austrilian Shepard) the house is always in some form of turmoil. The Spot Clean definitely comes to the rescue a lot. Very easy to use and gets the job done in a hurry so, I can get to the next mess. Bissell keeps getting better with every new product you come out with. Thanks!

Tried my SpotClean and it seems to be a good portable cleaner. It is great for stairs and car interiorS. The only problem I had was there needs to be an extension wand for attachment to extract the cleaner from carpet for those of us with arthritis. Had to press hard to extract the water & formula for drying with the current attachment. The cleaning formulas are GREAT. They removed the set in stains in my carpet and has a good smell to them. The Oxy Boost and Spot & Stain clean better than any other formulas I've used. The user guide was NOT too friendly; attachments not numbered in booklet as they are on the box. No mention of once carpet dries; vacuum and enjoy a clean carpet again. Definitely LOVE the cleaning products. If a longer handle attachment for those of us who need it is included; MY REVIEW CHANGES TO GREAT MACHINE!

This is a very easy to use product, its light weight, it has cleaned up anything I threw at it. I love it, I have a dog & 2 cats and this is just what I need. I can't wait until summer to use this on my car! Great product for the price. It is a must have for anyone with children. I love Bissell I have a Flip It also that is great.

The Bissell spot clean is the best stain removing product i have ever owned. It deep cleaned the spots out of the carpet and left no residue. I have two pets that have mishaps now and then. Bissell did the job on taking care of the stains and removing them. I would definitely would recommend this product to friends and family. I would have no problems purchasing this product for gifts.

WOW!! What a machine does everthing it says it does and more. Having a big family plus two dogs this machine sure comes in handy for tuff stains and spills on our carpet. I love this this machine it goes perfect with my Bissell deep carpet cleaner I purchased a few years back. Thank you Bissell!

I love this product, it is very easy to use and portable. Light weight, so you can carry around your home. The spots are disappear just in minutes. I used this product many times to see if it is really works on any spots. Yes, it is really works, all mess just gone in less than 10 minutes from start to finish.

Belle, our beagle, um . . . keeps us well supplied with opportunities to use the Bissell SpotClean. It's convenient (we keep it nearby), quick (plug in, turn on, use - we keep some solution in it, ready to go), and effective. Our sad carpet in the room where we let the dogs play (yes, Belle has some company) is beginning to have a new lease on life. The combination of the Spot & Stain 2X and OXYgen Boost solutions - along with the brush and claws of the DeepReach attachment - completely removes any signs of Belle's "offering." At the risk of hurting her feelings, we make joyful noises whenever we see what a nice job the SpotClean has done.

I loved winning to try out the spot Clean. It leak bad all over my carpets bubbles evertwhere, and the big attachment sprays to the sides so you are not looking at the spot in front of you It sprayed all over the bottom of my couch I was not happy with this experience. It just sits broken

Very good product which does the job! Wish it has steam clean because carpet is still damp after cleaning. But spot are removed as promise if use properly.

I have a dog and sometime have accidents in house I always have to get the big cleaner machine this cleaner the portable one is so easy to use and it cleans good and leaves no urine odor and get it all up .I'm going to use it for cleaning stairs because it is easy to handle.

I used the SpotClean to clean up after my lab's accidents due to illness. The unit thoroughly cleaned up all of the messes it left no traces or odors behind. It was quick and easy. This machine made a long unhappy cleaning job into a quick, easy and sanitary way to clean up really bad messes. After use I found that cleaning the SpotClean easy and quick. Love the option of how the cleaning tool brush comes apart for thorough cleaning. I also stand by the cleaning products for Bissell units. They work great with no residue. This unit right size to carry around for use and works great for upholstered furniture, stairs and cars.

Within two days of receiving the SpotClean it was put to use several times because my dog became ill. He is fine now but it was really great to not have to use the bucket and rag system to clean up. I always felt that scrubbing by hand mostly drives it deeper into the carpet and you never really get it all out. The SpotClean made it much easier and I love the fact that it draws all of the mess out.
It was quick to set up, lightweight, got rid of the mess completely and dried fast. I went around my home to use up the cleaning fluid left over and was also able to remove some older stains and spots with great success. I love this thing.
With two dogs and five cats I will be using this machine often. I am grateful to have it. Thank you Bissell!

I found this portable cleaner to be excellent even on old stains. This is a household with 4 adults and 3 cats. I was able to clean some old wine stains as well as some new food stains from my dinning room carpet.
I was very surprised at the quickness and ease of cleaning these stains. I thought I would have to buy a new carpet. As I am a 73 year old woman, I also appreciated that this cleaner was light weight and so easy to use.

We have a full size Bissell, but because of it's size it just isn't conducive to small projects.
This new SpotClean fills that need perfectly. It allows you to setup for one small spot or a larger cleaning session with the measurements on the side of the tank.
It's portability makes it great to use in any room, we even used it in the car.
I would not use it to replace a full size for large room work, but it makes a great addition to your arsenal of tools for keeping your house clean!

I used the Spotclean on a heavy-traffic dirt spot in my carpet and it worked very well and didn't take a lot of time. Although the spot looks better than ever before, I believe one more cleaning (possibly with pre-treating) will make it completely disappear. I found the information and instructions on the box flaps and the "quick guide" to be very helpful. I will definitely recommend this product.

I have two senior cats who occasionally puke or cough up hairballs. So I tried it on an area & was amazed how quickly it cleaned. The added bonus was no after smell like some products leave. I keep it in the hall closet filled, ready to use. The only minor problem is with the large brush which shoots some spray out the sides. Overall, I will definitely recommend the spotclean to all my friends. Thank you for making a product a senior citizen can handle easily!

I received my Spotclean last week, and finally put it to use over the weekend. My 2 year old Yorkie still likes to "mark" spots around the house, and particularly in the living room around a coffee table. There was one older stain that I used it on, and suprisingly it looks much better. I am pleased with the ease of use, it has plenty of capacity for large stain areas, and I know that it will get a lot of use. Thanks, Bissell, for this neat product!
