I have 2 dogs and with all the rain and the dogs running in and out my stairs got kinda dirty. Thanks to Bissell I have the little SpotClean and this one is the best. I used the OXYgenBoost cleaning formula. The machine is lightweight, easy to carry around and the deep reach brush is amazing, really gets the stains and dirt out. My stairs look like new. Thank you Bissel for sending me the SpotClean.

I am very disappointed with this product. I purchased it about 6 months ago. The water does not drain properly from the hose and now the hose is disgusting and is filled with gooky residue. There is no way to clean it and it smells like moldy dirty water every time I try to use it. I have to buy a new cleaner to clean up the smelly mess from this one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Dv70 Hose leaks at machine
I purchased a spot clean less than six months ago. Should have know better. This is the third( and last) Bissell machine. After using it less than a dozen times the hose split at the machine end.

Rated 1 out of 5 by dissappointed 3rd spotbot down
we have now owned 3 different pet spotbots- each one less reliable. we purchased this model because it seemed simpler than the others & we thought less could go wrong. nope. dirty water sprays from the hose at the machine base each use. ridiculous!!!!!

THE SUCTION WORKS GREAT BUT THE USED WATER CONTAINER WILL ONLY HOLD 1 TO 1 1/2 INCHES OF WATER. YOU HAVE TO EMTPY IT EVERY 30 SECONDS. THIS IS CRAZY. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT AT ALL FOR THIS REASON. I M NOT KIDDING EVERY MINUTE YOU GET UP TO EMPTY THIS. CRAZY

Rated 1 out of 5 by D Mitch Big dissapointment!!!
We have a new puppy and always thought Bissell sold a quality product.so this was our first Bissell.
We purchased ours in February so we didn't have to use the full size cleaner every time we had an accident. It's already broke its been used about 12 times. We couldn't figure out why the floor under the machine was wet after we used it and now we noticed the hose has split next to the cleaning head..

I purchased my SpotClean Model 5207A last month and had the opportunity to use it this morning. I was hesitant to use it thinking it would be a big hassel. Was I wrong. This little thing is the best cleaning item I have in the house. It was so easy to use and it's so light I don't have to ask anyone for help! The rug looks great and best of all there's no pet odor! I accidentally purchased two online hitting the button twice, I was going to return the second one but now I think I'll give it to my sister as an early birthday present. Thank you!

Rated 4 out of 5 by frogonaharley Recommended, however, know the "downsides"
I do recommend this spot clean. I have 4 dogs. Three are small dogs...1 is a 6-month old puppy...and the 4th is a 13-year old large dog who is incontinent. This is a very good product for cleaning up the small areas...and the dog beds...and even with the "downsides" I wouldn't give it up. The items I mention below are easy to live with for the convenience of not having to get out my full size machine all the time. I just feel they should be mentioned.
Here are the things I've noticed:
1...The dirty water tank holds 1/3 the amount of the clean tank. I have found this on the full size shampooers as well, just don't know why something cannot be built for the dirty tank to hold the same amount.
2...After turning off the machine, the brush head "dribbles". Just an inconvenience.
For those looking for a "rinse" feature...many full size don't have a rinse feature and in my household...personally...I don't need it. Once the carpet dries...I just vacuum again...I'm always vacuuming anyway.
For those stating about the sprayer going 5' in either direction...yes it does that...but read the manual. This is meant for "deep" cleaning so you have to "push" the brush head down.
