We are on our second machine and both of them have failed greatly. They worked a few times fine but they soon started dripping water and not dispersing water.

So far we are very pleased with the ProHeat Pet Deep Cleaning System. We have 3 cats that are constantly shedding. We have used it to clean 3 rooms so far. After we bought it, we used it in a spare bedroom that we had cleaned the week before with one of the rented steam cleaners, the cats aren't allowed in this room. We were shocked to see all of the dirt, etc that this unit removed. It makes our carpets look almost like new again.

My carpet had stains from months back, as soon as I bought the ProHeat Pet Deep Cleaner you couldn't even noticed the old stains from my pets. I love it!

Love the cleaner wish I had it years ago. It's easy to carry easy to get to the water tank. The solutions that go into it smells good. I have trouble breathing and the solutions I use does not take my breathe away like the air sprays that I've tried. Thank you for this machine.

We currently purchased this product to clean our carpet prior to new furniture arriving. My 15 year old daughter set it up, filled it with water and cleaning solution and went to work on the carpet. When she was done our carpet looked new again. Thank you for an easy to use product to works great,

I AM SO HAPPY WITH MY CARPET CLEANER!! I ALWAYS WANTED ONE. WE HAVE AN AERA WHERE THE CAT WOULD GO TO THE BATHROOM. IT SMELLED AND HAD STAINS. WELL, THE CLEANER TOOK IT ALL OUT AND THE CAT ISN'T GOING THERE ANY MORE!!! (THANK GOODNESS)!!

This is the third Bissell product I have owned and I have to say that the Pro Heat Deep Clean System is wonderful. My granddaughter is autistic and loves to lay in the floor to watch TV. With my Bissell cleaning system, I don't worry that she could be breathing in harmful dirt and allergens. I use it on my carpets and living room furniture weekly. Yesterday, I used the tool attachments on my vacuum cleaner on my mattress. Afterward, I used the Pro Heat to give the mattress a deep cleaning. My wife told me she hasn't slept so well on that mattress since we bought it five years ago.

We bought this to replace a Bissell canister we have had for over 20 years. After 20 years the machine was still working, but it was heavy and cumbersome, we thought we'd buy a newermachine, which is lighter and easier to use. Too bad it didn't make it through its first use. The machine leaves a huge wet spot on the carpet when it gets turned off, it does not suction water evenly, and halfway through the room... it just quit picking up the water. It has been 5 hours and the carpet is still wet, even with the central air condtioning on. A big disappointment.

Purchased this cleaner 3 weeks ago. We have 3 dogs and light color carpet. I am very impressed with the performance of this machine. Prior to cleaning the carpet, we vacuumed with our Dyson. Even after pulling up lots of dog hair with the Dyson, the cleaning brushes on this ProHeat carpet cleaning machine pulled out even more dog hair from the carpet. Our carpets were completely clean/fresh and dog hair free when finished. Using this machine can be time consuming if your cleaning large rooms of carpet or multiple rooms at the same time. The fresh water tank is small. For example, I cleaned a 12 X 15 room of carpet in about 1 hour, and had to dump the dirty water and get clean water 3 times. That's acceptable to me. I don't recommend trying to clean your entire house or multiple rooms at the same time, unless you have several hours to spend. I recommend cleaning a room each day, or skip a day between cleaning rooms to break up the monotony. So far no problems, breakdowns or issues with the sprayer. My hope is this machine continues to perform this way consistently. Time will tell.

I've had my cleaner for awhile. It has cleaned my carpets ok. I borrowed my cleaner to my aunt thinking everything was fine, put the cleaner into the closet when she was done. Come to find out she never cleaned the machine after using it. I went to use it, screamed! then washed out the front panel, rollers, water tank and filters. Started up the machine and it does not dispense water. I can not trouble shoot why this is not working now. checked the belt, re-checked filters, and water tank. I spilled water on the carpet, which the machine suctioned it up, so that works. Very irritated why the water does not work...grrrr.....

For the price you pay for this steam cleaner against the price you would pay to go rent one, its a good deal! must clean up stains within a good amount of time though or else they are much harder.

Took it right out of the box and put it together to use. Cleaned carpet great. Had some tough spots where our dog had been sick, and it cleaned it right up. I would recommend this Bissell product and cleaners to anybody that has pet issues that are hard to clean.

I moved in with my boyfriend last year and the apartment had been a bachelor pad for years before I moved in. You can imagine the state the carpet was in. I tried the rug doctor and it didn't do jack. I finally decided to buy a carpet cleaner. Since we have two pets I thought the pet deep cleaner would be best....and it was AWESOME!! Instead of the carpet being a dark ugly brown you can actually see the individual colors including the white!! It really does work miracles!

I have three boys and two little dogs (who feel the need to mark their territory). I moved into a new house with brand new white carpeting and decided to get the Bissell cleaner and I am glad I did because this cleaner has removed every stain plus anything my dogs left. Very very pleased with my purchase!

we had just gotten a little pet dog, now about a year ago. the little guy has his problems going in the right place. needed to clean the carpets. got the deep cleaning unit, i could not be happier with the outcome. the phone number operator was great with first timer advice.

I own a two bedroom apt, I have no pets and one child. My mother who has six kids cleaned my carpets with this machine and was very displeased. She said the machine did not spray enough water to even get the carpets wet. Two days later I did my normal yoga routine and felt a film left behind from the soap. We followed the directions on the bottle so there was no mistake on our part. Not very pleased at all with the machines cleaning power.

I must say this is my 1st time using a shampooer. It did really well cleaning up stains and just cleaning the carpets in general. My only issue is after it has dried. Not sure if I am not doing something right or the machine. When it has dried it is very stiff feeling not soft at all. The carpets smell and look great but feel kind of rough. But everything else was very easy to do and kind of fun. I like this machine a lot but would love it if my carpet was soft.

I bought my ProHeat Pet the third of Febuary 2013. I've used other Bissell products in the past and haven't had any problems. Well after using it once I noticed that my rugs were about the same as they were before I started the cleaning. Then the brush belt broke and I bought a replacement belt. There were no directions in the manual on how to put the brush belt into the machine. I took the ProHeat Pet back to the store where I had purchased it. When I purchase a product like this and follow the directions on how to use it I expect it to last longer than a couple of weeks.

i just recently bought a bissell pro heat carpet scrubber. i love it i never thought that my carpet would ever come clean , but it did. i have 6 grandchildren and my carpet gets very dirty especially with the littlest ones. And i have a dog and three cats so i really needed something that was going to get my carpet clean. i had a hoover carpet scrubber which i wasn't impressed with. i also have a bissell sweeper its awesome to it picks up the pet hair and anything else that happens to be on my carpet . its not a bagless sweeper i'm not a huge fan of those things.

I decided to shampoo my own carpets this time as I have never been real happy with the so called professional steam cleaning jobs. I knew I didn't want one of those store rentals either as I was not happy with them. They are expensive and so hard to transport back and forth. I saw the Bissell ProHeat Pet cleaner on Walmart's web site so I checked out the reviews. It sounded pretty good and the price was right. Am I ever glad I did. I absolutely love it. It was easy to use. Not too heavy. It made my carpets look like a real professional had done them. I was especially impressed with how well the water was extracted out of the carpet, as that was one of my main concerns. All the water that went into the carpet came out and my carpets were left clean and almost dry enough to walk on then in my sock feet. Thank You Bissell

I used my ProHeat for the first time this weekend and was satisfied with the results until I switched to the hand tools. We had just started using the hand tools on the stairs when we needed to change the water. When we started the machine back up, it started making a horrible rattling sound! It still worked fine, but sounded terrible!
We have checked everything we know how on the machine...all settings, belts, brushes, cleaned out all the pet hair from everywhere we can get to. It is still making this sound.
Any ideas?

I have a Border Collie and a terrier who both experienced stomach problems at the same time. The terrier vomited all over the rug but the Border Collie had runny diarrhea in big puddles.
The Bissell carpet cleaner restored the carpet to the best it has looked since it was new and without a trace of odor.

My husband and I bought this because we were potty training our daughter and she kept having accidents on the couch & floor, this worked GREAT. I even used it to clean our mattresses & the entire couch!! You'd be surprised at how filthy your bed & couch is even though there might not be any visible stains.
Well I bough it in 2010. and its been used quite a bit, but I'm starting to have problems with the suction. And when I turn it off after using it ,its starting to leak water from the upholstery brush nozzle & from the bottom floor cleaning nozzles.
Its cleaned regularly and I flip it on it's side and I make sure to remove hair and lint underneath other wise the water doesn't spray evenly & nicely.
And a few times I have to run regular hot water though it so that soap doesn't clog it up.
Maybe I've just gotten all the use I could out of it and its burnt out and I need a new one?

They have made several improvements since the last one i bought 3 years ago. The separate water and soap dispenser is fantastic, plus the water tank is enlarged. They also put in a rinse only cycle which is also great.
