I am sooooo frustrated with this machine right now. It won't spray. Bissell needs to make this work without a hitch. A homemaker's time is valuable. I wanted to have the family room carpet cleaned by now and all I have been doing is fiddling with this thing to try and make it spray. The hand tools and the floor tool won't spray. I have the same problem with my little green machine. When it is working, I think it does a fine job. I just have anxiety every time I go to use it, wondering if this is going to be one of those times it doesn't work.
I decided to go give it one more try with all of the fixes mentioned in your responses to the other negative reviews. I rinsed it with clear water, cleaned the nozzles
and made a few passes with it on the water rinse setting. It worked for two passes and now it's back to not spraying. I am now 2 1/2 hours into what I thought would be a half hour project to clean one room. If you can't make a product that really works, you should sell it as a toy. As for me, homemaking is a real job. I'm not playing house!

i love my proheat x2 a great product built to last and has held up great with 3 dogs and a cat
so it gets a alot of use i orderd the small verson of the proheat that ways 14 pounds so i use the big machine for cleaning on car so its been in the shop 5 times
for maintaince and repairs thats how much use it gets
yall make a great products only one problem the hose holster thing that holds the sprayer thing cracked off and broke so now i use a twist tie to hold it in place

i love my bissel proheat it dose a great job on our carpet we only have one room that has carpet wich is my moms bedroom but its had it times in the shop
i had to replace the pump it was used so much
and the hand tool brush broke off had to get a new
hand tool and the thing that hold the tool cracked and brok off so they had to replace it so now we can use the machine to clean out the back of our big suv
and i also orderd a mini verson of the full size upright off of QVC they they have great products thanks again for making such great products

Just bought the product and used it for the first time and I can honestly say that I hate it. The water compartment is very tiny. I only tried to clean a small area and ran out of water within 5 minutes. When I checked the waste compartment only a tiny bit of water was in it. I also did not notice a difference in whether it cleaned the carpet or not. I hate it!

Purchased this product at local Walmart yesterday, used it this morning to clean bedroom rug and what a great machine. Easy to use, operate, and cleanup afterwards. Unlike others previously used, not a bulky machine to move around. Highly recommend for those with pets and carpeting.

Had the older model and after many years (13+) and many rug cleanings, it finally stopped working. I went with the same machine, (obviously newer model) and still love it. So easy to cleanup after and it does a wonderful job on the rugs. I have both older cats and dogs and there are more than a few accidents on my rugs and this cleans them up nicely. Easy to use and my arms do not get sore after using it. I actually paid $10 less for this one. That was a bonus.

I love the easy of using this cleaner & the job it does removing dirt from carpet is very impressive. Machine clean up is so easy that it encourages you to use it more often.

I was happy with this until about the sixth or seventh use. After that point, the trigger on the handle stopped squirting out solution. I then had to use the hand-held nozzle to spray the water, then go back over the area to vacuum it up with the full machine. Thankfully I recently moved into a house with carpet in only one room. I returned this yesterday and bought a Little Green Machine. I am hoping I will not have similar problems with that one.

I hate this machine, in the shop for the 4th time, every part on it keeps breaking and yes I do take care of my things...... I now have more money invested in it then what I paid for it. The next breakdown the machine goes in the garbage and will be replaced with a different Mfg.

Whether you use shampoo or only water, filling the container is simple and never fails. The spraying is thorough and the suction works very quickly and very thoroughly.

I like everything about this machine, except that the water tank is too small. I have to empty it quite often if cleaning all carpeting in the house and I wish it got closer to the edges of the carpet, but it cleans very well, is easy to operate and maneuver. It has a long cord which is nice. My last Bissell carpet cleaner was the canister type and it cleaned very well, but was a pain to get around (too big and bulky with too many hoses, wands, etc..). I am actually able to clean my carpeted steps with it. I have used this twice since I got it and so far I am impressed with it. It isn't too loud either which is a plus as well.

I used to have a Bissell cleaning system for years but like anything it wore out. I bought myself a ProHeat Deep Cleaning System for my birthday and I couldn't be any more pleased with it. It is so much better than my old cleaner, the water stays hot, which makes a big difference in getting the job done. I am disabled I have been for the past 18 yrs. and my caregivers have to run the machines for me and I couldn't be any more pleased with the machine, it is simple to use so it is easy to teach my different sets of caregivers how to use it. I supervise the usage of it and make sure it is done properly. I am a stickler for cleanliness the carpets have to be cleaned every 5 months or sooner depending on the weather. My carpets are almost white which I hate but I an renting and I can't do anything about that but keep them clean which the ProHeat does the job wonderfully. I am thrilled with the machine and If I had a choice I would buy it all over again. I would recommend it to anyone. I already have told everyone I know about it and how wonderful it is and that they should get one and they can't borrow mine I found out the hard way with my last machine not to loan it out it came back broken, but now instead I have this wonderful ProHeat Deep Cleaner instead it was a wonderful Birthday present. Very well done, lightweight, and cleans great. I live in an apartment, so the tank is fine, but for large areas, you will be filling it frequently. Clean up on the machine is breeze! Just love it!

I was going to have my whole house carpet cleaned and decided it would be a better value if I just did them myself. I am ashamed to say how long it had been since the carpets had been cleaned. I really didn't expect to much since they were pretty dirty, but I was pleasantly surprised! The whole house came out great & the machine was really easy to use. Thank You!

Somewhat disappointed of the results when used twice now. I believe I spend more time refilling the tank than actually running the machine.I don't press the spray lever THAT much but that tank sure empties quickly.
Figure that a few more usages before I will break me even compared to renting a machine. Really not as good results obtained when compared with a rental but at least it,s always available.

If I had it to do over again, I would buy the next size up. I've had the shampooer less than a year and I've already had to change the pump belt -- I don't have a lot of carpet, but I do have a lot of pet hair. Overall, the shampooer is easy to use and does just what it's supposed to do.

I had a royal mess to clean up and was tired of renting and carrying one of those big machines from the store so I decided to purchase this machine. I am very glad I did. It cleaned not only my giant mess but my carpets in general came out great and I have it when I need it. Thanks Bissell.

We have two cats and a 2 year old and small messes usually happen often in our family. We use this machine to clean up all kinds of stuff and it works very well. We use a Bissell spray on some of the tougher stains but it still manages to come clean with very little effort. Great product!

I purchased this one to replace an older model that I gave to a friend. The old one did a great job but I especially liked the easier to clean removable part features of this new model. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the new one cleans the carpet even better than the old one. Lets hope it is as reliable as the old one and I'll be a happy camper!

I bought this machine several months ago. We live in an antique house that only has capet in one room. The carpeted room is a home office and it has commercial office carpet with closed loops. The carpet had not been cleaned in 10 years. Although I had to clean high traffic area several times, I thought that the cleaner did an exceptional job.
My only complaint is that it does not do a good job of cleaning edges. I have a noticable strip of carpet within 1 1/2 inches of the wall that I cannot get as clean as the rest of the carpet.
I am also concerned about the durability of the bladder in the water canister. I suspect that over time it will fail. Having said that I do believe that for the price this is an exceptional carpet cleaner.

I had one and my daughter borowered it when she got her puppy. She loves it and dont want to give it back. It is so easy to use and that is why I/ we use it all the time. No more wiping up spills. pull it out and spot is gone.
