Over all I was pleased with the job the ProHeat Deep Cleaning System did on my carpets. But was a little disappointed that the part that holds the hose and hand held cleaning tools. This part consantly falls off and the cleaning head brush does not go in the notched out holder easiely or stay in the notched out holder. After repeatly attaching the upper hose rack to the bock of the handle and pushing it into the opening slot and sliding down, the hose rack broke. Very cheap!! Now we have no where to go with the clean hose.

In a home with 14 furry little creatures and 2 kids my rugs can get dirty fast. There are "accidents," spills, and just regular traffic. I borrowed the Proheat Deep Cleaning System from a friend and was so happy with the results that I went out and bought my own!! I really love how easy it is to go from floor cleaning to the upholstery tool with the turn of a dial, makes cleaning small spills super easy!!!

I have had other bissell products and was very happy! When I saw it on sale at Kohl's and had to have it! The first room I used it on was a storage room that had never been cleaned! I could not believe how much dirt it got out and how easy it is to use, plus it picks up alot of the water! I walked barefoot on the rug after 15 minutes and it was barely moist! I have a weight limit and this unit is perfect for me ! I love it!

I bought this product today and tried to clean my carpet but it didnt do well. The brushes dont move and pick up or brush the carpet to get it clean. Are the brushes supposed to rotate on their own? They only move in accordance with my moving the machine back and forth. Is that the way it should work or is something wrong with it?

The Pro Heat 25A3 was a great buy. it cleaned my carpets to look brand new. I have a cat, so it picked up everything. I especailly liked the ease of pouring in the cleaner. Easy to fill and empty. I love it. I now have to clean all my friends carpets, however, i told them to buy their own!!

Decided to try the Bissell based on other reviews online. Product was a cinch to put together and the easy to fill measuring cap made sure I didn't overuse cleaner. Each fill was enough for one decent sized room which was fine since I didn't mind refilling - very quick and easy to empty/fill. I got sooooo much hair off the carpets (2 dogs and 3 cats) and that was AFTER I vacuumed with my top of the line vacuum! House smells so much fresher and no longer smells like a dog when I come in! I would recommend this to anyone!

I love this machine because it's light weight and so easy to use. I had another brand that was so heavy it was hard to push and really didn't clean as well as the Bissel.
I had a really hard to clean area that looks 100% better than it did before I started. Great product would recommend it highly

I wish that I didnt have to put more solution on my carpet in order for unit to suction. Although I shouldnt have to pull the trigger for the suction to continue sucking until I say stop, but I do. I believe all carpet cleaners should have a suction switch. I dont care for the "all in one" bucket or the baffle system.
I do LOVE the way Bissell allows me to take off clear suction thingy and clean it. I wish there was less plastic or maybe tougher plastic on their products.
I purchased their lightest carpet cleaner at first because I thought it would b great for my arthritis, as in it would not kill me to use it but I returned it because the unit was separating. Once Bissell fixes that problem I believe it will b an excellent cleaner for those of us who suffer from arthritis.
My sis just bought a Hoover. One step up from my Bissell. I plan on comparing the two

The ProHeat Cleaning System is light weight, easy to fill, and empty. Making cleaning the carpet in my entire home much quicker than with systems owned in the past. The heating mechanism is also a great time saver. I have also cleaned the upholstery in my vehicle which now looks great.

I have pets and the stains that come along with them. This seems to get all pet stains up, easy to use and good size for storing in closet. I definitely feel like this was a good buy. For the price of one professional carpet cleaning I was able to buy this machine that did just as well as the professionals!!

We purchased the Bissel Deep Cleaning unit and frankly I dont care for how the solution is distibuted from the unit. In other words, sometimes it sprays, and sometimes it does'nt. Whats up with that Bissell??? The unit is only a week old.

This Bissell is replacing my Hoover after 12 years of trusty service.
-price was definitely right (less than hiring a company)
-light and easy to maneuver
-heater gives it great cleaning power
- single tank a plus to do clean water rinses frequently
My only complaint is that I have already had to replace the belt twice to get the sprayer to work, so I'm very disappointed about that since it is only a week old and I'm not finished with my carpets yet. All of the opening of that compartment will break the plastic clips and then I'll be using duct tape to hold the machine together. :)

I love my Bissell Proheat Carpet Cleaner! It cleans way better than the clunky thing I used to rent at the grocery store. It is easy to use and lightweight and does an awesome job. It cleaned up coffee and soda spills without pre-treating. It also does a fantastic job on pet urine. I highly recommend this machine to anyone who likes the convenience of cleaning their own carpets.

My carpets have not been cleaned in six years, so I decided to try it myself. Bissell came to my mine when thinking what to buy. I cannot believe the amount of dirt I removed from my carpets. It's really a breeze using the Bissell cleaner and with the attachments I was able to clean my furniture.

I have had this machine for about 5 years and that is because I haven't thrown it off a cliff! Oh it worked fine the first couple of times I used it but it got clogged up with remnants of the cleaning solution. FINALLY figured out how to fix THAT. Now it hasn't been used in about a year so I got it out and sure enough NO water or solution spraying out. I have cleaned all parts as before....nothing! I have had this machine apart 4 times trying to get it to spray...I'm done with it.

I ve had mines since 12/2010 and it worked fine. I have a small dog that misses the wee pad at times and a Daughter whos hair wraps around the brush after a while...
I have had to take the brush off, to remove the hair at times...
Now the water doesn't spray out the bottom, i assume the hole is clog since the spray attachment does work.
I found a suggestion on the site that you should fill the tank with PLAIN warm/hot water and flush the system after use with cleaning formula / fluid as this may dry over time and cause clogging.
All in All.. i was very happen for 2 years

after purchasing two of these I must say their the biggest piece of junk ive ever bought! First one lasted a 2yrs only used twice besides spot shampooing. The 2nd 1yr after using once and a few times of spot shampooing! Buying another and it definitely wont be a bissell!!!!

With two dogs, I use the ProHeat almost weekly. It gets up pet tracks, "oops" stains and everything inbetween. I love the way the house smells after I clean the carpets with the ProHeat :)

The bucket assembly is rather flimsy and came apart as I was carrying it, full, exactly as directed in the manual ("like a bucket"). The bucket fell to the floor and shattered. First day of use, and am now left with a half-finished room and a credit card bill for two more buckets (an extra in case of more problems).
Would not buy again for this reason alone.

I've had my steam cleaner since Katrina hit in 2005. I purchased it to clean up after the debris was removed from within my home. Almost 8 years later, it is still working just like the day I purchased it. I use this steam cleaner at a minimum; 1 time per month, but usually more. I have 2 small dogs in the house and they tend to wet when they get excited and the steam cleaner is so easy that I just whip it out and clean the carpets rather than spot cleaning.

I purchased this unit as a replacement for the Big Green Machine I had for years. I used it to clean 2 houses where there is a predominance of cat/dog hair and it performed beautifully. I HIGHLY recommend you pre-treat any stains with Bissell's spray or a good substitute (Rug Doctor).
My only complaints are: 1) instead of picking up the dog hair it leaves it in clumps on the floor which you either pick up right away or vacuum it up after the carpet dries. I plan to rectify that situation by purchasing a good vacuum cleaner which will pick up the dog hair that is deeply imbedded in the carpet. 2) The plastic piece that you install to hold the hose is very poorly designed and falls off continually. My wife had to fashion a strap out of velcro in order to keep the hose on; but still it is a problem.
Overall, I am very pleased. The 1-tank system works flawlessly and is very easy to use. It takes a while to get used to the noise whenever it gets clogged with pet hair but it is very easy to clean out. I would have given this unit 5 stars except for the two issues I mentioned earlier.

I have owned a Bissell ProHeat for about 10 years, and loved it. However, when it stopped working, I ran out and bought a new one. To my chagrin, the new one did not have a separate soap container (which I find more convenient then adding soap to each bladder of water) and there was now a removable clear plastic piece on the front/top creating the channel for water collection. The new unit seems to constantly lose suction, I think because this piece does not fit perfectly well. This results in much water being left to soak in the rug. I had my old Bissell repaired for $90 and am now planning to sell the new unit.

I bought this steam cleaner almost a month ago and just love it. Picks up ground in dirt and easy to use. Love it so much I even cleaned my mother's carpet. Now she plans on buying one as well. I also bought a vacuum, steam mop and sweeper in the past 2 weeks. Very happy with Bissell.

I cleaned the carpets in my family room and upstairs hallway. These are the two areas of highest traffic in the house. I've had the carpets professionally cleaned several times. The bissel did as good a job as the professionals did. i was so happy with the results I recommended this product to a friend who also purchased a unit. He was very happy with the results he achieved.
