Rated 3 out of 5 by StaceyS Worked great.... until it didn't
We got this as a wedding gift and for the first two or three months of use cleaning up after at dog it was great. It heated the water like it said and we really were impressed with how well it got stains and odors out. Then we noticed the heater stopped working but figured it wasn't a big deal as long as it still did the cleaning it was supposed to. It seems not matter how often we change out the dirty water it just smells awful when we use it. Not like urine or feces necessarily, but like stale urine covered by cheap cleaning product. It doesn't clean up stains as well as it first did either and I'm not convinced the pump feature works every time like it is supposed to. The suction feature seems to have been consistent, though, so that's a plus. Really wish this would have worked out better, I probably wouldn't buy this product again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bridgett Redesigned Bissell Pro Heat pet carpet cleaner.
I had a Bissell Pro Heat carpet cleaner for 10 years. I used it even month for the 10 years. It stop working. I decided to check the different models of the Bissell line. I wanted to get another Bissell due to the craftsmanship. When I saw the new Pro Heat pet line I just had to get one. I love how easy it is to clean after use . The whole package is just wonderful. So in six months I hope that I am able to write another review. Because I don't think its fair to give a review when I really haven't used it. The best reviews should be done 1year of product use.

Rated 1 out of 5 by ronafish could have bought a better machine
I bought my Bissell Carpet Cleaner to clean up after a new puppy. I figured having one would be cheaper than renting one while she house broke. I paid a lot for this carpet cleaner. My Bissell lasted less than 3 months! The only advice I received for my complaint was take it to a repair shop, so I did. It still doesn’t work. The Bissell is great and scrubbing the floor and spraying the water all over the carpet, it just doesn’t suck it back up. So for 3 months and maybe 2 uses I had a very worthless very expensive carpet cleaner . I now tell anyone I get a chance to pick any other manufacture of carpet cleaners, I recommend Hoover. My Bissell Vacuum lasted for an even shorter time frame than my carpet cleaner.

Rated 1 out of 5 by allysoly Hard floor cleaning useless
Here's what I wanted: Hot cleaning solution dispensed on tile, some type of cleaning pad/squeegee and then strong suction so tile and grout are clean. What I got: cleaning solution that leaked constantly, tepid cleaning solution/water smeared around tile leaving dirty streaks and minimal suction. After using the Bissell for 30 minutes, I went back over it with a mop with removable cleaning pads to see how effective it was. It was disgusting--the pad was filthy. I re-read the manual, scoured the YouTube videos, etc. I did everything correctly and am so disappointed with this product. Unfortunately, it was a gift and I would never call the gift-giver and ask for the receipt or let them know what a disappointment this has been, so now I am just stuck with it. I definitely will not recommend it and am probably off of Bissell products from here on out.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Murry Good machine too bad the spray function only lasts about 2 years
This is a great carpet machine. However, this will be my third one in 5 years......The spray function simply stops working. The rest of the machine is practically brand new except for that. I'm not sure what Bissell can do about it but it is most disappointing. I think the problem may have to do with calcium build-up in the heater....at least that's what I've read. It would cost me around $100 to get it fixed....so I might as well buy a new one. I tried a Hoover and took it back. Bissell is the way to go I just wish they would last longer. If anyone needs parts I have 2 practically brand new ones that don't work anymore at my house....Ha!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Coloradobuddy Intermittent Operation
I bought this machine 9 months ago to replace a similar model Bissell that was less than 2 years old. They were both used maybe 3-4 times a year. Both had intermittent pump problems not spraying, sometimes. When they worked, they are great machines. I was unable to resolve the problem with either machine. I would not recommend.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Pepe_le-Pew77 Machine extractions "sucks"
Not happy with machine at all. Water extraction is very poor at best. I expect carpet to be a little damp after I wash it but the carpet was "WET". Had to repeat the extraction process several times to get it the carpet somewhat damp/dryer. Soap solution empties out too quick. You do not realize that you are out of solution until you are well into attempting to clean more carpet. Location of solution dispenser is too low to take a look at it while you are washing the carpet to see if you are running low. Wish I would have kept my old machine even though it was old, it still extracted the water better than this one. It also had a better fresh water tank/soap tank Combo and seperate dirty water tank.
I know that a lot of people have this machine and rave about it. I am only one person in this sea of carpet machines owners but I would read up more about this to see if its right for you.
