Rated 5 out of 5 by rwgate Bought my first Bissell steam cleaner in 2008
It was an earlier model which didn't have the pre-heat. Made the mistake of loaning it to my neighbor, who took off with it, hocked it at a pawn shop and disappeared.
So I bought the Bissell 2x Pro. It's worked flawlessly for me for the last seven years. I actually used it to suck up water after a flood (pre Shop Vac). First problem ever was yesterday, when the front nozzle cover separated. Tried to glue it, no luck. Guess I'll have to get a replacement part. Fortunately it's not expensive.
Highly recommend the product. Waiting for it to wear out so I can get a new one!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Pat S The 9200Z did a beautiful cleaning job!
The 9200Z is my first carpet cleaning machine and I was amazed at how easy it was to assemble, understand and use. I was also very pleased at how dry the carpet was after cleaning; it took very little time to dry completely. It's been a month since I cleaned our family room carpet, and it still looks like new.

Rated 2 out of 5 by TomNic Cleaning solution did not dispense.
Used the cleaner for the first time and no matter what I did I could not get the cleaning solution to dispense in the floor cleaning mode. It worked through the hand held attachment. So I'm not sure if I got a bad unit. Can't return it because it was bought a while ago.

Rated 3 out of 5 by sitobe99 Vague user guide
I got the machine this morning, have not used it yet, but if the assembly instructions are any indication of what is to come, I am not enthusiastic. After spending 20 minutes trying to figure out how to attach the stain trapper tool to the storage caddy, I went to the website, and the user reviews told me that the tool does not attach to the machine. The user guide never said that and there are no pictures to show that. There is an empty space on the machine for the storage of some tool but I have no idea what that could be and again the user guide does not tell me what it is for. I hope my cleaning experience is better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by bostonterrier22 Excellent machine that performs it's job well
After several hours of use, I would say that this unit is easy to operate and very effective. Although, it does take a little effort to push and pull, as the full weight of a tank of water would require with almost any carpet cleaning machine. My favorite aspects of this machine include: the adjustable solution dispenser for light- normal-heavy traffic, water rinse option selector that eliminates the need for a new tank of plain water, built in heater, and the dry aire vents that aid in drying the carpet. I have used this machine on higher pile carpet to area rugs that have nearly zero or extremely low pile and this machine has been able to extract water/solution from the carpet without any problem. Definitely recommend this product to others want to get their carpets very clean. We have had no problems with filter clogging. We have had some lint clumps on the floor, but I attribute that to the fact that this machine is getting deeper and extracting more than our vacuum can--which further makes me feel as though this machine is performing very well. Those clumps can also be sucked up by the machine if I pass over them, so no worries. Thanks Bissel!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Cin Love it!
We had the Bissell Proheat Protech for many years before it finally gave out. Bought the Proheat 2x Healthy Home yesterday, used it today and love it as much as I did my old one. My carpet looks fantastic and it sucks up the water very well. The key to getting as much of the water out of the carpet as possible is going very slow. But that's how I vacuum also. It takes a little longer, but it's well worth it! Thanks again Bissell!

Purchased the product today, March 15, 2015. I am going to call Bissell tomorrow morning to determine if something I was doing to create the operational problems. If not, I will return the unit to Lowes.
Assembly was a chore because the pieces did not fit together easily. There was an extra piece in the box that was not shown on the diagram. I have no idea where it goes. After finally getting the unit assembled and attempted to use it only to find out it was not dispensing solution. Re-assembled the handle 4 times before it would work properly.
Operationally, it pooled water on the carpet at the end of the backstroke. When attempting to vacuum the additional water up, there was not enough suction to pull the water out of the carpet. I had vacuumed the carpet before using the Bissell unit using an industrial vacuum that picks up dog hair very well. The Bissell unit did not pick up the left-over hair, but balled it and left balls of wet hair all over the carpet. If this unit was designed for pet environments, the design has a long way to go to actually work on pet hair. The hose kept falling off the hose holder on the right side of the unit. the hose does not appear to be held in any way.
