We have had ProHeat 2X Deep Cleaning system for a number of years. It cleans the carpet so well. We have 2 small dogs, it cleans up their messes so well. With the stain cleaning to pretreat the stains, they disappear like "magic", the pedal on my machine just broke, the cleaner is still usable but it is difficult to bring it up and down the stairs. I am not sure if I am going to "junk" it or try and have this one fixed. The closest authorized dealer is almost 1 hour away from where I live.
Such a dilemma!

I am sure it is even better than the ones you rent from the grocery store.. And the great part is you can go over it again and again and get it dry really fast ... Takes out almost every stain... And the suction just strips the rug of all dust, pet hair, everything!!!..... Love love love it!...

I've had my cleaner for around a year and it stopped working properly in October. The carpet cleaning solution will not spray out at the bottom. I took it in today to a repair shop in town but they don't work on them and suggested tossing it as it wasn't worth fixing. I think he's right. I won't purchase another Bissell and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

We bought this to clean the 11 year old carpets in our RV. The unit did a good job of a stained and well used carpet. The pretreat solution took out most of the stains even before we used the cleaning machine. The hand held attachment did an excellent job of the stairs and the carpet has stayed clean for the month since.

I started using this machine on my past job, it was great. I decided to purchase one of my own, I have only used it twice so far. I was pleased with the outcome of both cleaning. Like anything else it takes a little patience working with the machine. Satisfied customer

Never had a machine like this one. I feel that my carpets are clean for the very first time. Easy to use and so convient to operate with the removable tank. I have been looking for something this good for years.
The cleaning wand is also very easy to use and does a wonderful job on my stairs and a chair that I was ready to throw out...You have got to try this one, it's a real bargain.....

I was using my mother-in-laws and it stopped spraying. So I bought a new one (same kind). This brand new one doesn't spray half the time, and now it is not sucking the water back up. So frustrating as I have only used it a few times. Money thrown away....
On the positve side, it is easy to use.

I have used Bissell products for many years. Always had good luck with them, but this one is the best yet. It is much easier to clean up and so easy to put together to use. Have had problems in the past with other Bissell models, but this one is no problem at all. Would advise anyone who needs a new a cleaner, to get this one.

Bought the Bissel proheat 2x a few days ago. Brought it home and it wasnt all bad at first. Easy assembly and it looked like it was a solid carpet cleaner that would work great so I was excited. At first it worked great, then it lost suction and no dirty water filled in the well at all. My husband and I looked it over very carefully to see if we overlooked anything in the assembly. It just didnt have good suction at all. Fortunately the store we bought it at returned it for us with no questions. Im disappointed, I wanted it to work.

This is an ok cleaner. It was heavier than I had been lead to believe. It did not suck the water up very well during the rinse which caused for a long drying time. The cleaning formulas smell great and work well. I've used it two times now doing different rooms. I wish I'd gotten a smaller unit.

We are very happy with our Bissell ProHeat 2X® Deep Cleaning System. It is easy to use and does an excellent job of cleaning. I am impressed with the great suction, it really gets the water back out of the carpet. The hand tool works beautifully, also.

I have a beige carpet in my home. and a germen shepard, the carpets take a beating from her paws from outside. I rented cleaners and it never seemed to clean the carpet good. With the bissell it really did a great job and the carpet looks and smells really clean. I am so glad i bought this and will never rent a carpet cleaner again.

I love this machine. As far as I'm concerned it out cleans the other brands out there. I used it on a very badly soiled carpet with ground in stains and it cleaned the first time. I did not have to redo it.
If you are considering buying this model you will not be disappointed.
I owned 2 other machines, one a Bissell and another brand from a company that deals in floor cleaning machines and this one works the best in my opinion.

I have owned 2 shampooers previous to owning this one. This one tops them all. I owned first the cheaper Bissell and it worked well and cleaned as it should. I lent it out to someone who had no idea how to operate it and when I got it back....it was toast.
The second machine I owned didn't even last a yr. It was a Hoover. I figured Hoover knew floor cleaning machines, but I was wrong. I paid $129.00 (on sale) and the scrubbing brush on the bottom of the machine broke off.
Now I own the Bissell 2X and it is awesome. It heats the water and really scrubs the rugs nicely. The pet stains I had came up the first time. I didn't have to go over them twice...only once.

Purchased several years ago. Happy with it the first year but was only used apx. 3 times. Now, not happy at all because of of various issues such as plastic parts breaking, water not pumping, shampoo dispenser not working, and now water running through it when sitting idle. It's been taken in for repairs once & now needs it again. Haven't decided yet whether to trash it, fix it, or go with an entirely different brand altogether. Leaning toward trashing it.

I found that this product cleaned good-however I had to empty and add fresh water often, seems like I had to do this every few passes. I was only cleaning a small space with little traffic. I could never use this product for my livingroom or other high traffic areas because of it's cleaning capacity. It did clean what I was working on nicely. If you have small areas and low traffic this is a good product for you.

I have owned a bissell for several years. Everytime I wear one out i buy another bissell. I bought a different brand one time and hated it. This machine cleans my carpets well!!!!! When i wear this one out i will buy another.

Bought it a yr. ago, 1st time used great, did nice job on carpet, 6 months later, put it back into the closet all frusrated because it woudn't dispense water. Motor sounds good and brushes spin, but that's it. Today, 6 months later, same thing, nothing... Back into the closet leaving my dirty carpet and frustration again, My fault that I didn't return it.. Good luck with yours..

Bissell is the one out there to buy. I have had a bissell for years and well never buy any thing else.
For the cleaning the carpet when you have pets or kids its the best.
If you need a good vacuum the rewind cleanview pet,does a job you can't believe and its so very easy to keep clean.
This vacuum well last a long time.
More then happy with both.

I bought this as a replacement for a hoover steam vac..unfortunately after only 2 months it will not disperse cleaner or vacuum it up either..I will be taking it back to get service as my warranty is still in effect..also the loading and emptying of the dirty water is difficult and messy and easily spilled..sorry i bought this product..maybe i got a lemon.

I have had a Bissell carpet cleaner since the 80's.
It worked great and this one is no exception.
It is easy to use and our carpets look and smell great.
If you are looking for a carpet cleaner "STOP" this is the one you want.
P.S. My first one still works and so does my little green cleaning machine that I purchased at the same time.
Bissell just keeps out doing themselves.

I recently purchased it. I had a GE deep cleaner before, it was about 10 years old. It did a good job, BUT it was so very difficult to assemble and use. I got so that I didn't even want to clean the carpets, no matter how bad they looked. This new Proheat 2x is so easy to operate, and the carpets look terrific. It is a joy to just fill the tank with water, set it on the machine and you are ready to clean. It is easy to empty and easy to clean afterward. I am getting ready for company, and I am not worrying about the carpets.

I had a Proheat Bissell that I really liked, and when it broke, I decided to get the Proheat 2x Deep Cleaner. I love this machine even more than the previous one. It cleaned our carpet even better than the professional cleaners that came to our house. They could not get out the stains that this machine easily removed. It even removed a grease shoe print that I did not think would come out at all! Very happy with my purchase!

i just used it yesterday...and my carpet looks so good now..i first used the bissel proheat 2x steamcleaner when i was cleaning house for a client and he had one,
i asked if i could borrow it and he said sure,,,i was blown away by what it did for my carpets..u wouldn't
believe the cat hair this bissel picked up - and spit out
so i could pick it up..i think it found cat hair from 15
years,lol.it's easy to use and i just use vinagar/water
,becuz of my cats..a month ago i bought my own bissel
while it was on sale. and i am so happy w/it..no regrets-it's wonderful~* Lenda

I got tired of renting machines or using a adaptor that hooks to my wet/dry vac. After much research I purchased this machine. My carpet has not looked this good in years, I read and followed the very good instructions supplied. The machine is easy to use and did a Great job. The carpet dried in about two hours. No more renting or using adaptors for me.
