Rated 4 out of 5 by Jagapelove Good machine - a few quirks
I purchased this vacuum a year ago and it is still running well. It has great suction and cleans quite good. The little wheels off the bottom of the head came off and won't stay on and the self propelling function ceased to work. All in all I would recommend this machine. We bought one for our office at work and it is functioning better than mine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by DawnB Great vacuum
This vacuum gets rid of pet hair. I love the lift off feature. This is perfect for stairs or to get behind small, tight areas. The vacuum isn't too heavy nor too wide, or too bulky. It has perfect suction power for my needs. After registering my product, the accessory items are listed for ease of reordering. That is a plus! This is my second bissell. I would recommend to anyone that wants power in a price friendly vacuum.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Marie Great for a multi-level home
Product is lightweight enough that I, or my kids, can carry the unit
up and down the stairs easily. I have a 3 story home, with carpet on 2 of the levels plus the stairs. With 2 pets and 7 kids in the home, it gets used a lot and abused too. It has held up very well with daily use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by furbabymom Very good machine, but needs a few tweeks
I have had and still have several Bissell products. My previous vacuum was a Healthy home model, loved it, but lost it in a house fire. Search on for new model, but local stores didn't carry the Healthy home model any more. The Powerglide was available at my Walmart and features looked good. I liked the Lift off canister idea for stairs and being able to turn off the brush when needed. What I like: light weight (almost to light), lift off canister, multi surface use (I have carpet and vinyl), easy to empty, power head for hose and the suction of my old Healthy home model. I have 6 dogs and 3 cats, this thing picks up the dirt and hair!! What I don't like: I could live w/out the swivel head and hate the handle on the hose. I have arthritis in my wrists and these 2 features make them hurt. I liked the hose on the Healthy home much better, was more flexible and was easy to snap in and pull out. No hose extensions w/the Power glide (yes you can buy but I think a vac should come w/the things you need to clean). You need the extensions to reach higher areas, luckily I had some from another machine that fit, but there is no place to store them on this machine. The Healthy home model had great storage areas. No edge cleaner, so I have to get that hose I don't like out more often. One thing that is handy but I would still like some control over, this machine self adjusts when moving from one type surface to another. This is nice but on carpets I like to be able to determine my own adjustment. This is because of the arthritis, pushing the vac on higher nape carpet is harder and adjusting the height on the Healthy home model made it easier, I can't do this w/the Power glide. If I could get all the features I had on my Healthy Home model w/the lift off canister I think I would have the prefect vac.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ROCKY 1 GREAT VACUUM!!
This is one easy to use vacuum with all the suction to get the dirt. It's easy to maneuver around all floors and carpet, and its not to loud like other vacuums. Also like that Its easy to keep the dust cup and filters clean! Thanks bissell for one awesome vacuum!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by KGH Frustrated
I really love using the vacuum on my carpet and hardwood floors. The suction is awesome and it is quite maneuverable. However, it is very frustrating when using the hose. The hose is too short for reaching up and away from the vacuum. When canister is attached any action to stretch the hose pulls the vacuum over. I was really excited to use the vacuum as a duster, but this too has been even more frustrating. The hard end of the hose limits the versatility for dusting. The dusting tool should be a round soft bristle brush attached directly to a flexible hose for a close suction. The dusting tool for this machine is also inflexible and just lets the dust stick mostly to the brushes with not very much being sucked up. I also have to hold the canister with one hand even when it is on the floor because it also gets pulled over putting nicks in my furniture. Maybe a well placed strap for the shoulder would help.

Rated 3 out of 5 by cathy58 not as light as they say
when I got this.... the dare hose is way to short to reach without the vacuum tipping over.. also for the price I paid for this model I would have expected another piece that makes the pole longer in the middle and not be expected to order one from you.. this should have been included.. I have always used your brand but this one took the cake.. also your lift off is heavy I have fibro and with the motor on the liftoff it sure makes it heavier for me
