Rated 1 out of 5 by Cindy Belt will not stay on
We have had this vacuum since early spring. I get so frustrated every time I Vacuum I want to scream. The belt falls every 5 minutes. And do not hit your couch or chair because it will come off again. I have had luck with Bissell in the past. But will never buy another one. I just tried to finish vacuuming this afternoon and was ready to throw it against a wall. My husband had to put the the belt back on 4 times and we do not live in a mansion. It should take no longer than 30 minutes to vacuum each room. It took me an hour. The vacuum seemed awesome at first, but needs to be redesigned. Love the swivel. But that is about it right now.

Love the vacuum, but the vacuum no longer glides and the brush no longer spins. I've had this vacuum for 2 weeks. Please assist me with this issue.

I was in search of a new vacuum and thought I'd try a canister style. After trying three other vacuums, I came back to this upright. It's perfect because I can still use the floor-brush attachment and clean my tiles floors or use the turbo brush on my stairs while just carrying the lift-off tank. And then it turns back into a "regular upright" for all of my carpets with a click of the canister. I have learned I will always be an upright vacuum lover, but am a huge fan of the lift-off feature on this vacuum. I also get great suction and enjoy the narrow vacuum width because it fit between the legs of more of my furniture.
The only downsides: It doesn't flatten out well to get beneath furniture because of the large tank on the front. And the floor-brush attachment doesn't glide very smoothly on my floors--seems a bit cheap.
Although I've only had this vacuum for a few months... I hope I get to use it for years to come!

Rated 2 out of 5 by ang trouble with belt and beater bar
Beater bar wont spin anymore even with new belt unless its off the floor. My machine is less than a year old and I have already had to replace the base due to wheels falling off and now it picks up nothing. Very let down on quality. I figured a long term relationship with Bissels power glide lift off bag less.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Susan Lots of trouble with belts
I have had unit less than one year and have had to replace the belt about 7 times. I had to replace the brush roller two months ago and it has already broken and needs replaced. Something needs to be done. Not a happy camper to say the least.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Dred73 Great product BUT.......
My wife bought the Bissell Advanced Pet Vacuum with Lift-off Technology early this year or late last year. We love Bissell vacuums and when our last one stopped suctioning, instead of fixing it like I normally would, we made that as an excuse to buy one, well, actually it was my wife's excuse to try out the bagless with lift-off capability in order to vacuum properly the stairs.
PROS: great suction, our carpet is medium thick but we were amazed how much dirt was collected from one room!; easy to use, not to heavy on the wrist around corners.
CONS: hose is not that stretchable so it falls easily. The on/off button stopped working suddenly.
It would have received a 4-5 star from us Bissell lovers except for the hose and the start button. What's up with that button Bissell? After years of trusting your product, we're kinda thinking of checking on other brands......

Rated 1 out of 5 by ss22 Poor design, bad product
Vacuum not compatible with pet hair. Hair wraps around the spindle and spins the belt right off. I replaced the belt 8x attempting to vacuum one room. Replacement belts do not fix the problem.
Even if the belt worked, the product would receive only 2-3 stars from me because of the poor design of the lift-off and hose. The hose doesn't stretch like you need it to, therefore it is necessary to buy two additional wands to make it marginally functional. You still have to keep either a foot or a hand on the lift-off because without a stretchy hose, the thing falls over on you.
Would not purchase again. Would not recommend. Very poor design. Disappointed.
