Rated 5 out of 5 by Nanna My New and Only Vacuum
I bought the PowerForce a couple of months ago and I wouldn't have any other vacuum cleaner. Bissell really hit the nail on the head with this one. Plus, I like that fact that I can order filters, cleaner, etc. online and PLUS, they support Homeless Animals with their donations via some of their products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lionheart13 I've been living in a dirty house all these years!!
And here I thought my old vacuum was good - fooled me! I bought this one because several people recommended it and as luck would have it, the store where I bought it had one left in stock (that's always a good sign - popular items never stay in stock). I was absolutely totally and completely amazed the first time I used it - super suction - and I came to the conclusion I had been living in dirt and filth for all these years and didn't know it. That problem is now solved. Great product Bissell -wish I had bought this years ago!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Gerd Perfect for Cleaning Businesses, Too!
I've owned a cleaning business for over 20 years. I easily could have spent hundreds of dollars on an industrial vacuum but I've opted to purchase 3 to 4 of these per year. They never last more than 4 months, because the upright control lever always weakens and breaks and is not repairable. That aside, this vacuum is lightweight and powerful! These are two key features for me, because I have shoulder issues and because a 10 amp vacuum just won't do the job.
Bissell may never honor a warranty (due to the excessive use) but I'd still rather buy another one than spend tons of money on a heavy, clunky industrial vacuum.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MrClean76 12amps!
This one replaced my last 12 amp bagless Bissell that lasted me 7 years until the height adjuster broke to the low position. I had to find another 12amp Bissell to replace it. The Power Force Helix has done great so far. The bagless vacuums are the way to go!

Rated 1 out of 5 by CodyC Massive flaw that ruins an otherwise serviceable vacuum
This isn't a bad vacuum altogether. It vacuums well, it's easy to use, and it's cheap and easy to assemble.
What ends up ruining it completely is the hose. The collection hose needs to be connected to a socket on the back of the vacuum to deposit the detritus into the collector. The problem is that the hose simply attaches to the socket through two tiny protrusions on the end that fit into slots on the socket. It doesn't actually lock, and even a minor jostling (such as tilting the vacuum up to lock it upright after you finish) will promptly cause the hose to fall out. Even worse, the hose can be turned 180 degrees and inserted upside-down, which looks completely identical to the proper position but will fall out simply from gravity, or if you look at it funny.
Did I mention that if the hose falls out, you'll end up with trash falling at your feet and the vacuum no longer works at all?

Rated 4 out of 5 by Deej Great Value
I didn't know just how underpowered and ineffective our old vacumn was until I replaced it with the Helix Turbo. It did a great job of picking up dirt our old vacumn wasn't getting, as evidenced by the volume of dust and dirt in the container. The Helix is relatively light and I have no problem carrying up and down stairs. The attachments worked just as efficiently - emptying the container is quick process and easy. Overall great value for the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by nixonda Good Vacuum
I upgraded from the Easy Vac, because it just wore out. I liked the Easy Vac, because it was lightweight and had washable filters. That's also why I chose the PowerForce Helix. The vacuum is still easy to maneuver and does a better job of lifting dirt and dust with its much larger cleaning head. You won't believe how much it picks up. It has a long cord and a large dirt canister. You can cover more area without having to umplug and empty so often. I found ours at Walmart for a little over $40. You can't beat the quality at this price.
