How does the Pet Hair Eraser® Canister remove pet hair from my home?
In addition to convenient canister vacuum features like an Automatic Cord Rewind and bagless dirt and debris capture system, the Pet Hair Eraser® Canister has specialized features to clean pet hair from carpets, area rugs, furniture and other surfaces. The vacuum’s Pet Hair Lifter acts like a lint brush, attracting hair as you vacuum so you can collect more pet hair than with suction alone. Rated 1 out of 5 by Piece of Rubbish! How I wish I had read these reviews before buying and could have saved myself the trouble! We bought it in a hurry when we bought our house, having had to part with all our household electrical items when we moved to Canada. We bought a cylinder vacuum for the first time as we have hard floors and picked this as we have pets. It has now been relegated to removing cat hair from the sofas as using a good old brush on the floors is far less frustrating than trying to use this machine! However, it cannot even cope with that small task. The 'clean filter indicator' comes on EVERY time, SEVERAL times! The dirt cup is never full - I empty it after, and during, every use - and the hose is rarely blocked, although I know that is a problem with cylinder vacuums. It is almost always the pre-motor filter. How BAD must the design of the machine be for the fluff and dust that is supposed to be held in the dirt cup to be outside it and getting onto the pre-motor filter?? Now my Turbo Brush Tool has stopped working, but I admit that was because I threw it on the floor in rage when even cleaning the pre-motor filter YET AGAIN did not turn off the warning light. Just wait until I find a good upholstery brush and will then decide whether taking an axe or a lump hammer to this vacuum would be more fun! May 10, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Vacuum Graveyard- Ugh! Another one for my vacuum graveyard! It is so difficult to use-Every time I want to use it I spend at least a half hour troubleshooting. I get so frustrated. I thought when I switched to Bissell I had hit the jackpot-wrong. I am still trying to work out the problems with my Pro heat x2 which is a nightmare also. I remember years ago your vacuum lasted forever. You only had to replace belts and bags and viola! This by the time I trouble shoot the problem of the day with this unit I could have vacuumed my entire house. Hey Bissell-would you like to send me a replacement? Between this and my Pro heat 2 I am just about given up on Bissell which makes me sad as you won me over from Hoover a long, long time ago with the magnificent green machine! What happened? Rated 2 out of 5 by Not as great as I expected Let me preface this by saying that I used to own the upright version of the Bissell Pet Hair Eraser and it worked fabulously. When I got wood laminate floors in my house, my mother in law INSISTED that I get a cansiter vacuume so as not to scratch the floors so I got the canister version of the vacuum I was very happy with. The canister version does not clean as well as I expected. I have two dogs and a long haired cat, and I think the level of shedding is too much for this poor thing because it has trouble sucking up the hair, it frequently clogs up (I have to clear at least 2 clogs every time I use it) and it doesn't clean the area rugs any where near adequately. It takes me 2x as long to vaccum my house as it used to (I now have resorted to sweeping and THEN vaccuming because of the clog problems), and I don't even have carpet anymore. After bringing this up with my MIL, apparently these are all common symptoms of a cansiter vaccum, and rather than owning 2 vaccums, I am re-homing this one and getting an upright multi-surface vacuum that actually, well, vacuums. I have cats and dogs, and for this money I can buy every couple years a new vacuum, instead spending 300-400 and something that does about the same job.So, it works, if you don't want spend bunch of money on the vacuum. Rated 1 out of 5 by Does not pick up anything!!! You've got to be kidding me! I should have left this in the box. This is probably the 5th time I've used this machine. At first I thought I was crazy because I kept going over the same spot and nothing came up. After reading this, clearly I'm not. I have it on the highest suction gage level and it barely picks up anything. I literally have to hold it close to what ever object I want to pick up and if it picks it up, I have to turn the hose upside down so it goes in... What is Bissell going to do about this?? Are we all just out of luck. I'm not the only one dealing with this suction problem. What is the fix here Bissell? August 7, 2012

It lifts the hair up without getting clogged unlike my previous vacuums. I am about to purchase another one as my original has gotten dirty over the years due to all the pet hair. It is being relegated to the outside mats. June 7, 2012

When will my order arrive?
After adding items to your shopping cart, you will able to choose from two shipping options: standard (5-7 business days) and expedited (3-5 business days). Next to each option is a delivery estimate date window, which will calculate dates including "business days" and determine when your shipment will arrive. 

 

How are estimated delivery dates calculated?

  • Orders placed before 3pm ET on a business day process and ship on the same day. Business days count forward from there.
  • Orders placed after 3pm ET or on weekends/holidays will process and ship the following business day. Business days count forward from there.

 

What are considered business days?
Business days include Monday–Friday and exclude holidays. Holidays in 2013 include: March 29, May 27, July 4, September 2, November 28, November, 29, December 24, and December 25.

 

When will I receive my tracking number?
Tracking numbers are sent to you in an email about 24-48 hours after your order ships. This delay allows the shipment to be processed by the shipment carrier’s website. However, don’t fret! Your order will still arrive within the original estimated window.

The email will arrive with the subject, “Your BISSELL shipping confirmation”. You can also visit the View Your Order page anytime to find the latest status of your order, including its tracking number once it has shipped.

 

What carrier will be used to ship my order?
BISSELL uses multiple carriers to ship products. The carrier who ships your order is selected by our shipping department and depends on many factors including items purchased, delivery address, warehouse inventory levels, and more.

 

Will my entire order arrive in one shipment?
Multi-item orders may require shipments from multiple warehouse locations, so you may receive some items separately. Details for each shipment will be provided by email and will be available on the View Your Order page.

 

What about orders outside of the continental US?
Standard shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, Puerto Rico, American Samoa and Virgin Islands will arrive within 15 business days.

 

What about P.O. Boxes or Military Addresses?
If you have a P.O. Box, an APO or a military address, you will need to place your order over the phone by calling BISSELL Customer Care at 1-800-237-7691 during these hours:

Return Policy

BISSELL.com’s return policy is simple and convenient:

  • If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, return it for a replacement or full refund within 30 days of the delivery date.*
  • You can arrange for at-home pick-up of your return
  • Pay just $4.95 in return shipping
*For safety reasons, cleaning formula purchases cannot be returned or refunded.

Return Instructions:

  1. Pack all items (including all accessories and manuals) securely and include the packaging list that was sent with the order.
  2. Attach the return address label on the outside of the package being returned. A $4.95 return shipping fee will be deducted from your bill.
  3. Take the package to an authorized ship center, or if you would like to schedule a pick-up call the FedEx Return Program at (888) 777-6040.

Refund Information:

Once we receive the merchandise, it will be inspected to make sure it meets quality standards. BISSELL Inc. reserves the right to deny refund for returned merchandise which appears to be excessively used or abused.

The refund will be issued in either check or credit format based on the original purchase once the return has been processed at our facility. Note that the original shipping and handling costs will not be refunded.
