We, too, used to use tape or a lint roller to pick up pet hair. This was not very eco-friendly and terribly time consuming. This little vacuum solved all that and it's lightweight enough that my 10 year old can use it easily. Love the long cord; makes it great for stairs. Very good product. Wish I had bought it sooner.

I am involved in animal rescue and have been for many years. Removing pet hair from clothes and furniture has always been very difficult, not to mention embarrassing when visitors sit on the sofa and walk away covered in dog or cat hair. We tried vacuum attachments, lint brushes, rubber lint brushes, sticky lint brushes....you name it. Nothing worked well or completely. UNTIL NOW! I bought this little vacuum last month and was shocked when I tried it on the sofa. IT WORKS! It really really really takes the hair off of the furniture. And the pillows. And the dog beds. And everything else. I cannot recommend this product highly enough. My only regret is that I did not try it sooner. We currently have 17 cats and 4 dogs in the house, so I know about pet hair. Trust me.....if you have pets, you will love them more and resent them less after you buy this little vacuum. And hopefully, your house will be so clean you'll decide to rescue another animal!

I love this little vacuum. I was really surpised at how sturdy the construction is and I am hoping it will last a long time.
We have two cats and it works wonderfully. My only question, is there a time limit per usage? I actually used this to vacuum our large area rug as it really needed to be free of cat hair (our other vacuum does not do a wonderful job of that) and I felt it got a little warm.
We have hard floors except for two bedrooms and a large area rug in the living room and a small area rug in my daughters bedroom. They all need a deep down removal of hair. We have lived here a year and a half but I don't think the bedroom carpets had a lot of deep cleaning by the previous owners and this little thing really picks up the pile. They are REALLY good rugs and it is a shame the way they are now. I did a very small area to test my bedroom rug and it looked brand new in that one area. So, if I can get the pile up and then clean the rugs and revacuum after they dry they will be gorgeous - if I can use this little thing to restore them. I LOVE IT!!
I am a very happy camper. Thank you very much for such a wonderful product.

This was a recent purchase for me. I needed to have something that was light weight, dependable, etc... This little vaccum is amazing. I use it to go behind my cat and take care of small areas. This is the perfect tool to use in your car. The long cord is a plus and not bulky like the others. Thank you BISSELL!

I love this product! I have 2 dogs that sleep on our bed and under the covers; one sheds a lot. In the past, we have used the sticky paper rollers to get up the hair. Now the Pet Hair Eraser is like a hair-picker-upper-miracle. I use it on our sheets, blanket and comforter. One swipe and hair is gone. And, it is not too heavy. Now. Bissell. when are making the attachment to brush the dog to fit this vacuum??

Great product - had another brand but this outshines!! Great nubby cleaner for those hard to remove cat hairs. She's all-over white and it shows!. The only 2 problems I had was the weight; had to rest a bit, and the handle size, position. Was a little awkward for my arthritic hand. Over all a great vacuum for a great price!!

I ordered the Pet Hair Eraser because my dog sheds a lot. When I used it, it definitely picked up the hair, but I had to constantly rest my hand and arm because the machine is heavy. The pros is that the cord is very long, so I was able to go up the stairs before unplugging it and changing it to a different outlet. Good to have, just wish it wasn't so heavy.

This full name must be “Pet, Human, and Dust Eraser!” Even for human hair and dust, this works fabulous! I purchased this based off the stellar reviews I found on almost every website that mentioned the Pet Eraser, and it still exceeded my expectations. Small and powerful design makes it perfect for apartment dwellers or others short on storage space. Suction is amazing, pink nubby piece grabs every speck, and cord reaches far enough to ignore. The clear dirt tank is easy to clean and awesome for those who might forget, neglect, or ignore the filter. I recently spent the same period of time cleaning one chair with the old fashioned dry sponge method as it took me to clean all of our furniture and baseboards with this Bissell. I also purchased the Hose Adapter Nozzle, Crevice tool, and Flex Hose enhanced this to become the absolutely most versatile cleaning appliance. Coming from a family loyal to another brand name, the Pet Eraser has even converted my mother!

I have a long hair domestic and a short hair cat, both rescued. Have litter and hair every where. Pet Hair Eraser is amazing. Works excellent in the bath on the tile with the deep grout lines. Light weight perfect to use everyday. Makes clean up a snap. They love to sleep on the fabric sofa and desk chair. Pink nub cleaning tool works great to dig out the long, white hair on the fabric. Love the long cord. Makes it easy to reach the whole bathroom floor without having to switch outlets. Best hand vac I have purchased.

This is the best small vacuum that I have=ve used. I bought it to get the dog hair off my stairs. I used to use a big clunky shop vac. It is so easy to use the pet eraser. It picks up the hair and is easy to manuever on the stairs.

This is a GREAT little hand-held vacuum. I have 7 cats. I could NOT BELIEVE all the cat hair that came from vacuuming their cat trees -- mind boggling! My regular upright was not removing the hair -- actually left it behind! Plus, it is quick -- doesn't take nearly as long to vacuum as it does w/my upright and attachments. The only improvement I would like to see is a 'comb' attachment. SO, I made my own. Using a comb, I combed and re-combed the areas, and got up that much 'more' cat hair, in addition to all that I'd already gotten up. I actually had to empty the container after EACH tree cleaning. YAY, my home feels much cleaner now!!! Thanks Bissell! PS: Also love those new "stomp it" pads for the puppies' messes!

I have tried many pet vacuums in the past and none even come close to the suction power this lightweight little vacuum has. It took me less than 2 minutes to suck up all the fur from my two shedding cats in my very small apartment. I have never had so much success with sucking up every last hair until now!!!! I only wish a crevice tool was included within the purchase, but besides that this vacuum has inspired me to buy a bigger version so i can clean the larger spaces. If you have a quick mess, fur on couches, carpets, or bedding I highly suggest and recommend you buy this product you will not be disappointed!!!

I purchased this product based on the reviews and was excited not to have to lug out my clunky vaccum for a change.
I'm sorry to say that I found this product to be a little less than average. It's good for dust and lint, but no pet hair. At first I thought it might have been the ultra suede material on my recliners so I moved to sofa w/ different fabric, still no pet hair. I tried w/ and w/o the rubber attachment and I had also bought a wide mouth attachment seperately....no pet hair.
I would not recommend this product to a friend unless they are looking for a good "dust buster". Sorry Bissel, but this is the first time you have let me down, every other product has been 100% in my opinion but not this one.

I have two huge shedding cats and one small apartment. I have tried every product from the shark to black and decker hand held pet vacuum and honestly they both worked for about 5 minutes. This pet eraser is by far the best product out there. Its so small and 20x powerful than both the shark and black&decker put together. It sucked up hair i did not even know existed. I deep cleaned the sofa, pillows, and sucked up the dust ball/ hairs in the corners and underneath the tv, etc. I wished the crevence tool was included with the purchase. I highly suggest to purchase this product. It works wonders (and I have tried the rest) THIS IS THE BEST!!!!!!

Love this product, I don't like having to get out the big vacumn for pet hair on my bed, chair and sofa. I get this handy picker upper out and away it goes. I have 2 cats and 1 dog and tons of pet hair everyday. It's fast and easy, picks up great. Has a lot of suction for such a small product. I opted for the corded version instead of cordless one. I am sure they both work great, I love Bissell products, they have never failed me yet.

I own several Bissell carpet and shampooers. I love Bissell but this is awesome. I have a white long haired 16 LBS. cat named NoNo. And daily I need to vacuum up the liter she flicks around. I have a deep welled liter box and still don't know how she gets so much on the carpet and floor.
I have tried all those little do da devices and none have worked thus far. This little guy does the job. Long cord is a plus and along with the added accessories. Suction is terrific. I can also get under the bed where her hair seems to mate with dust balls.

I researched products for several weeks before deciding on the Pet Hair Eraser. I have an English bulldog and a red sofa. The Pet Hair Eraser removes most of her white hair easily from the sofa. The unit makes a quick cleaning everyday a breeze. Also great for cleaning the floor and rug area around the sofa.

I had put off buying a hand vac as the ones I got before were terrible. I have one cat long hair. I got it mainly to clean up out side his little box and his scratching post. Long hair all over the place. This little machine is very strong and picks up great. I have RA and it is not hard for me to use, it is strong. The price was great too.
