"We at The Last Resort Rescue, are so unbelievably grateful to BISSELL and their Partners for Pets program.  When we found out we were the winner of the $5000 grant, we were overjoyed and knew exactly what we could do with this money.

We are a 100% foster based organization, and at times, our fosters are full and not able to take in more dogs. Unfortunately, in our area there are so many dogs that are currently chained and left outside that we want to help. Many are left outside because their owners do not want them or do not and cannot care for them. So we have decided to put this money towards boarding these dogs until we can find them a safe and warm forever home! We are on a mission to rescue these dogs, and so far in our community, we have rescued three dogs from these types of poor living conditions.

Again, we cannot thank BISSELL enough for being so compassionate and having the Partners for Pets program to help organizations like ours. We wish so many other big companies would follow their lead. So much more could be done to help animals in need if corporate America was behind them!"
