Bagger

What's All This White Stuff??

Pet Parent: Dan & Renee Irvin    Entrant #: 0901303

Bagger was rescued from Iraq in 2009. When he was a puppy, Iraqi children stuffed him into a bag and kicked him down the street. Bagger was saved by American Soldiers who gave him his name and adopted him as their own. With the help of the SPCA International Operation Baghdad Pups program, this sweet and lovable pup made his way to the US. Bagger brought joy to SSG Irvin and his fellow Soldiers in Iraq - and now he brings joy into our lives at home. He is living large and loving life!

Welcome to the US, Bagger! Blessings to the soldiers who embraced you in theatre, and to your humans who shower you with love. As they saved you, no doubt you saved a bit of them as well, so far from home. Operation Baghdad Pups is a phenomenal program, and both you and OBP deserve every vote!

Bagger, You are one lucky dog. There are so many deserving dogs over here in Iraq that would love to be rescued. My buddy Huey, who was rescued from Taji, wishes you the best and owes his good fortune to the wonderful people at Operation Baghdad Pups. Good luck

Good luck Bagger! I'm an Operation Bagdad Pup Grandma, and I can think of nothing more honorable than to be rescued by such wonderful people. The way these animals are treated by our soldiers helps them not only cope with the situations where they are stationed, but the friendships they form go way beyond "rescue!" It takes a lot of love and persistance on behalf of all that are involved in getting them to the good old USA!!! And then when they make it to the states, LOVE awaits them!
