How do I submit my pet photo?
Please fill out the form on the Enter page. Do NOT send your photo in an email to us, we cannot accept them in that way.
Can I submit more than one pet photo in one period?
No. You may only submit one pet photo per submission period. If you would like to submit another photo or another pet, you must wait until the next submission period to do so.
Can I submit a photo of two of my pets together?
No. We can only accept one photo of one pet, per person, per period. If you submit a photo with two or more pets shown, it will be disqualified.
Can there be humans in my photo?
No, there must be one pet ONLY in your photo. No humans or other pets can be seen.
Can I submit a photo of a friend's pet?
No. You must be the current owner of the pet photo you submit.
If my pet didn't win in a past period, can I submit him again in a future period?
Yes, as long as your pet does not win, you may submit your pet once in each submission period.
Can I mail my photo to you?
No. We must receive all entries through our submission form. We cannot accept entries in any other way.
Can two members of my family submit the same pet in one period?
No. Each pet must only be submitted once in each period. Besides, if the same pet is submitted twice, it will reduce their chances of winning, since they will be competing with their self!
Can my photo have text on it?
No. Your photo must be just a picture of your pet. If you put any text on the photo (like the pet's name, etc.), it will be disqualified.
Can I submit a photo of my deceased pet?
No. Our photographer will be taking photos of the winning pet in order to get a high quality photo for our packaging. You may only submit pets that will be available for a photo shoot.
Can I submit a photo taken by a professional photographer?
Yes, the photo can be professionally shot, as long as the photographer has given you full rights for the photo. And by entering, you are giving us rights to use the photo as we see fit.
Can I submit a photo of my pet from a couple years ago?
No, photos must be recent. Our photographer will be taking photos of the winning pet in order to get a high quality photo for our packaging, and we want everyone to be able to vote on a pet based on how they will actually look on the box!
How old do I have to be to enter the contest?
For legal reasons, all entrants must be at least 18 years old at time of entry.
Is there a location requirement?
To enter, you must be a legal resident of the US, located in the US at the time of entry.
How many votes can I place?
Once logged in, you can then vote for as many different pets as you want, but you can only place one vote per pet during each voting period. (Note: each voting period lasts a week, NOT a day.)
Can I vote for my own pet?
Of course! Each person may vote once for their own pet, just like any other pet.
If my pet is the final winner, will I have to travel far for the photo shoot?
Our photographer will go to a location near the winner’s home for the photo shoot. The winner may need to drive a short distance to the location of the photo shoot, but will not need to fly anywhere.
If I win, can I split the donation money between two charity causes?
No. The winners must choose one charity cause to donate their money to.
