I bought it to clean the spills left by my grandchildren on my sofa. It works great. We were surprised it worked so well. I will be taking it to my classroom to clean up the spots on my carpet and my husband and daughter will be using it to clean their car seats. I would recommend this product.

This compact machine is easy to use and will surprise you with the results. I agree it would be great if you have pets or children but I found it also removed old stains in my carpet that I had given up on. Great buy!

I am deeply impressed by the excellent performance of Little Green in cleaning our carpets and leaving a fresh clean odor after clean ups.
I highly recommend it for anyone with or with out pets that wants clean carpets in their homes or RVs.

Great product. Have two cats which cough up some pretty nasty hairballs. I use a paper towel to pick up the big chunks, blot the spot a couple of times with a paper towel, then use the the Little Green cleaner. Has made cleanup much easier and faster.

I purchased this in the nick of time as one of my cats got ill and had severe diarrhea and vomiting all over my house (at least 25 different locations)! Your product was easy to use and cleaned the areas beautifully. The carpet looks better than ever in the areas that were cleaned! Also, its being light weight and the long cord are a plus. This cleaner saved my sanity!

I just used my Littlegreen Proheat for the first time. I foster stray dogs and cats, on my 14th fostered dog and 6th cat. I currently have 2 older dogs, a middle age dog, a puppy as well as 6 cats!!!! I have always used an upright shampooer and thought I was getting the odor and stain out. Well, here comes a humid day and some recent spots still have a lot of odor. There is one particular area that is bad. This machine IS cleaning deep and removing the odor. Hate to say it but I can smell the odor as I'm cleaning. I just wish I would have purchased the cleaner that can be set and it cleans by itself. If you have a larger space to clean, my spot is about 2 1/2 ft x 2ft, I would recommend spending the extra money and get the one that cleans by itself. This Littlegreen Proheat surely packs a punch and does as it states in the advertisement. Ooops, gotta go, the puppy just left me another spot to clean.

I remember how I was introduced to little green. I was at a friend's house when I knocked over a soda. It was dark and I felt horrible and embarrassed that I soiled her carpet. She ran quickly for her little green and cleaned up every drop!! I was impressed. That was 10 years ago. I have since bought two little greens and they have cleaned every possible spill or disaster you can think of. Little green is well worth the money since it has saved me from numerous professional cleanings. *Cleans vehicles and small rugs well too!

I had an older Little Green machine for many years. Decided to purchase a new one as the old one was about 12 years old. Carpet spots disappear because it picks up the dirty water.
I do not like the 3" deep reach head that comes with it as it sprays out the sides too much even if you barely lift it off the carpet which makes letting it soak a few minutes impossible. The other standard brush head that comes with the machine is only 2" so is difficult to do any large area. I had to order a 3" regular head to do larger areas. I'm disappointed that a 3" regular spray head was not included as the 2" is useless to me .

I bought this machine recently after doing some online research. The heat feature works well to add the "steam" clean I was looking for. I have a kitten that is too young to be neutered and he has been spraying the carpets in my small apartment. I never thought the room would smell fresh and clean again, but I can honestly say that I am surprised by how well this worked. Some of the stains had been there for a few weeks (or longer!) and I had tried everything to get them out. I even shampooed my carpets with an upright carpet cleaner, but was not able to get in closets, behind shelves or under the bed - like I was with the portable Bissell.
I did not use the cleaner that was included with the machine (because I do not like harsh chemicals around my animals), but a few tablespoons of OxyClean worked really well to get the stains out. I have made a list of stains to try it out on next! I would highly recommend this product to anyone with pets, kids or clumsy husbands. I see many Bissell cleanings in my future :)

The Little Green is the best product I have EVER used to get things clean! I have used it on my mattresses, my couches, my carpets and my car! I never could get hot cocoa out of my carpet and I have scrubbed and vacumed and sprayed the heck out of it multiple times! The little green just got that whole big spot out without even needing to pre-treat! I have three kids, a cat, a dog AND we live in the muddy country! THANK YOU BISSELL! You have saved me thousands in carpet cleaning and now I won't have to replace the carpet when we move! :D

We have owned this for about 6 years now and it has saved our carpets. With 2 young kids, 2 cats and a dog this has cleaned everything from throw up to runny dog doo to multiple milk and food stains. It's not to clean your whole house but just smaller areas (2ft x 2ft). You do have to make sure you clean it after every use or it can start to smell. Over time the spray nozzle on the small attachment cracked and I ordered a new one which raked in the same spot in just 2 uses but Bissell replaced it for free and paid for shipping. Great customer service.
This little machine has paid for itself multiple times over I would say we have cleaned over 100 stains over the years. Works great on the cars too!

I am a certified 20 year carpet cleaning vet and I recommend The Little Green Machine for touch ups between professional steam cleanings... The key to cleaning is not a bunch of fancy chemicals but hot water and extraction. If The Little Green Machine can't get it out its time to call a certified professional. Capeting and Rugs are not cheep these days and The Little Green Machine is your best bet to protect your investment... No over the counter bottled spot cleaner can compete with this product when it comes to touching up small everyday spots...

i finally had to give in and look for something that would clean doggie messes better than just a spray bottle and a rag. i really didn't think that anything would be that great and then i read about this one. it was right in the middle of the holiday season and i was able to grab the last one at my local Target! yay! i am very happy with it and pleasantly surprised at how well it works. it's so easy to use and really does get the job done. i do wish that either the water would be hotter or that you could use hot water from the tap...but it works well anyhow, so i guess it doesn't really matter! also, i don't know if it's my machine or what, but when i spray the solution via the brush head, it goes out to the sides rather than straight down...or maybe it does both...but that's sort of weird. regardless...i am very happy that i bought this - it has saved me!

This little machine cleans so well I was amazed at the amount of dirt I was living with. I have a small apartment and not much storage so I bought this to clean the entire carpet in 2 rooms. It takes awhile, but once I got the hang of it the process went faster and really does a good job. I was amazed. It is a little hard to get the cat hair out of the brush but weighed against the whole, who cares?

I have had this cleaner for at least 7 years. It has cleaned messes for 3 dogs, 2 cats and 2 grandchildren. It is easy to use. The only complaint is removing the cleaning nozzle. Because I use my cleaner at least once a week I keep cleaning solution in the unit. Occasionally I need to remove the nozzle to clean the spray hole ( with a straightened paper clip) and have a terrible time getting it off. If you could redesign this connection I would give this unit an excellent rating.

We bought this to clean up messes from a puppy. It cleans fairly well but the "stuff" fuzz, carpet fibers, etc. get caught in the resevoirs and there's no way to clean them. I'm pretty OCD about cleanliness and this freaks me out that I can't clean the brush after use.

We had a light-colored sofa that had some 14 years of accumulated dirt and grime and had become a grayish shade instead. We were about to purchase a new couch, but I thought I would give the Little Green Proheat a try first. Let me say that the product works, and works beautifully! Almost like magic, the sofa is restored to it's light color. I also used the Little Green to spot-clean pet stains on the carpet, and it worked beautifully for that as well. Great product!

We have a small breed dog rescue in our home. There are carpeted steps to our laundry area in the basement. To put it mildly, they were gunky. We carry dog beds, wee wee pads and dogs down there. The shampooing was time consuming but I'm telling you that the carpet on the steps now looks like brand new. I'm well pleased with the Little Green Machine and recommend it highly.

I bought my first Little Green Machine when my son was a toddler, he's now in his second year of college. This is the BEST baby shower gift you can give. It's easy to grab it quick after a spill, dog or baby mess and the mess will be gone in no time flat.
The only draw-back I have found to these machines is a poorly constructed spray unit. I have never been able to "prime" the motor, as they suggest to get the sprayer working again.

Excellent suction! picks up the wet easily & leaves the carpet only slightly damp. The little messier part is easily picked up with only a little scrubbing with the brush & voila' - it's gone like the wet stuff.

I have been using a Little Green Proheat for 4 years in my work at a Marina. This is a great portable cleaner that fits into small areas. It does a fabulous job at cleaning.
We are on our second one because we wore the first one out we used it so much. The first one lasted about 2 1/2 years. I imagine someone using it for home use could last several years.
The product is well worth the money and you will be glad you have it!

This replaced a ten year old little green. I love the heated feature, the carpet seems to dry more quickly. A few extra strokes over the area with heat and extraction speed that process. With pets in the house it's a must!

This product is a waste of time and money. It never works when plugged in and the pump and vacuum system is so under powered that the flushing action is virtually inefective. The jets continuously clog and have to be cleaned out with a fine wire. Most of the time the pump will not even spray. In short, if this is the best that Bissel can do, I will never by another product from them again. This is the second machine, I should have learned the first time. You will waste more time trying to get this cleaner to work than it would take to flush and clean the spot by hand. This is absolute junk!!!

My 4 year old granddaughter vomited raspberry pie in the wee hours of Friday morning, unbeknownst to us. Upon getting her up we found a horendous mess all over the carpet. We then had a great ice storm through late Sunday night. Monday I went and bought this product, then in the evening, with no hope of ever removing the stain, a few minutes later, the STAINS were GONE!!! WHAT A WONDERFUL PRODUCT. THANKS1

I just bought this prior to getting a new puppy. This is on of my favorite things in the house! Easy to use, easy to empty and easy to clean. I leave it out and plugged in. Great for stairs. Light weight. Compact. I had the old version many years ago and you cant compare them. This one is the best!
